DeleteWhich party can win national elections in Nigeria of today? The only one that has been working on itself, building since it's last victory.
A country with about 18 parties has people who don't like to work complaining of one party state yet in that country, they have coalesced into ADC and think the foundation investors will disappear when even the learners in LP didn't and the old hands in SDP decided to wait for a better bus instead of entering one chance. Even in their campaigns in 2011, 2015 and 2019, they were happy to receive votes from even smaller parties without creating a coalition.
Who will the north feel comfortable with, and Atiku that has no pathway to the Villa outside of the previous cabal or an Obi that acts like they are all corrupt and has no tact for backroom negotiation? Anyone who studied the 2011 numbers and his penchant for playing victim will be careful up North.
The Adeleke that Atiku carried into government house has refused to even consider ADC till now and even they are not praying he does so he doesn't come to play for his new benefactors the way Wike rendered many of them homeless before.
Is there any governor that will play away this time? Not even lawal that looks to scare Matawalle for not inviting him to tea.
The new variable is the foreign interest and that is 1 against many. I'm sure Nigerian Christians will apply wisdom so as not to be used to protect rare earth metals. A democracy is very different from an authoritarian system where numbers are written and no polls are guaranteed.

ReplyDeleteWhich other major party is working and who will make it work if not the lazy and selfish members? Does a race end because one or even all but one contestant falls down? Is APC more or less formidable than 8 years ago?
DeleteWho is the PDP chairman and who are the exco who will sign legally binding forms? Why did the ruling APC not have any opponent against Wike under Buhari who delayed on the appointment of the Christian court of appeal head? Why did Marafa's victory in court hand over APC 's 100 percect victory in that state to Matawalle and PDP?
More will still join across Nigeria because online likes and clicks don't build parties and no one will spend billions of borrowed money simply to lose in court. Ask Banky w how reliable the Nigerian voter is. That is who you want to give up your house for?
