Yours is 8pm my former Landlord rule is 7pm.
Delete7pm gate will be locked 🔒 and you will be pleading for them to open gate for you.

We should not wash clothes in the bathroom(flat for that matter ooo)

In benin city, a big compound of about five apartments. The yeye landlord said each tenant was to sweep the whole compound per week. Like everyday of the week, you sweep everywhere in the house. No be face me house oo. Flats. I immediately declined, telling him that if each tenant sweeps in front of their apartments and the surroundings, the whole house will be clean. I sweep my corner, you sweep yours, house don neat. He accepted because I was a new tenant and insisted he should have told me before I entered the house. Other tenants were super grateful and told me I saved them from rubbish.

DeleteThey literally took turns every weekend to sweep the compound even outside too.
Then when they wash clothes downstairs they’d have to pile the water and throw it outside the gate…no pouring of plenty water on the floor….Lol
My cousin's house. You can't wear trousers in the compound. So when we go there, they bring wrapper to cover our trousers and then we pass. The tenants tie wrappers to pass through the compound and then put it in their bags to use when they return. Ridiculous

ReplyDeleteIn a four flats building with a residential landlord and landlady. You must pass,through the landlady's shop,to gain access to your flats. And you park your cars,wherever. The compound contains only two cars,it belongs to them. 🙄🙄🙄

ReplyDeleteWhen I lived Off-K, our Landlord told me and my roomie, no male visitor is allowed. And gate closes by 9pm or so. Well, our guys course mates then would come around and would host them in front of the gate. They actually found it strange. Lol.
