DeleteLeave beer parlour analysis. Ned fell out very early with the governor, heading to APC first. When the governor decamped with full force of the state political structure into APC and Okowa joined him on stage on that day, it was obvious Ned was a goner. Okowa being the one who defied Ibori to install governor Sheriff, I am sure it was easy for the governor to compensate him with a ticket to return to the red chamber. Even if he had a 1000 young wives, he had no path back to the chambers as he isn't even ranking unlike Okowa.
DeleteThe worst thing he could have done to expel himself from the governor's caucus and to isolate from the Abuja boys was to be hanging out with Omo Agege of recent. I am not sure his relationship with Tinubu has thawed since 2019 and it's believed by some that he was working for the Atiku camp in 2023 on instruction of the Abuja boys of then. There was some effort to mend things but I'm not sure that worked out and he's not exactly carrying much political weight anymore.
Why do I feel sorry for him though?
