Judge Orders Bizwoman To Return Ikoyi Mansion And Repay ₦478m to Ex‑Husband

Hmmmm  this story has SERIOUS gold digger vibes...

A Lagos High Court has ordered businesswoman Olufunke Otti, a former NTA staff to return a prime Ikoyi property and repay large sums to her ex‑husband, Chief Isaac Morakinyo Jolapamo.

Justice Olufolake Olufolashade Adewunmi‑Oshin delivered the ruling on March 26, 2026, in Suit No. LD/3034LM/2022, declaring that the house at Parkview Estate, Ikoyi, belongs to Jolapamo.
She must hand over the property, refund ₦410,347,000 from the sale of two vessels, pay ₦63 million in rent collected between 2018 and 2021, and ₦5 million as general damages.

The pair met at Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), where Otti was assigned to support Jolapamo during a difficult period. Their relationship grew, and they married on February 23, 2017, at the Federal Marriage Registry in Ikoyi.

During the marriage, Jolapamo entrusted her with selling two vessels , M.T. MOR Prosperity and M.T. Power and using the ₦810,347,000 proceeds to buy a family home in Parkview Estate. She bought the house but registered it solely in her own name without telling him.
Their relationship collapsed in March 2019, and while Jolapamo was abroad, Otti informed him via WhatsApp that the marriage was over and asked him to leave the house. The marriage was formally dissolved in April 2025.
They had no children.

    1. Men have done worse to women so keep quiet there. Always rushing to posts about women to bash them but when a man does the absolute despicable they run down their rat holes like cowards.

    2. Anonymous 10:40 why do you women on this blog feel guilty when news of such comes out. I understand your sanctimonious stance but Nigerian women are one of the worst women in the world, they will do something bad and still claim victim, imagine Nedu”s wife, with everything she did to Nedu, she still claims victim. Imagine this man married this lady abroad, what would have been his fate? Make una try change, the world is watching

    3. Anon 11:37,

You get time to dey 'romance' the dunce. I'm not surprised for we see that everyday on IHN. When there's a write-up on men, they gloat. When women are touched, they start crying to the blog owner lamenting of the everyday peice on women. They have no problem when it's a piece on men.

At the end of the day, it just further proves women have no problem with sexual crimes, dubious acts and atrocities. They only have a problem when it's a man committing them.

    4. 11:37, take just an hour of your time to go through the comments on this blog. Women actually criticise women the most when they've done something wrong. Women call a spade a spade and speak out against wrong doing no matter the gender. But the men on this blog keep quiet and all of a sudden go blind, deaf and dumb when a man does wrong but they are quick to jump like rabid dogs and be the first to comment when a woman does wrong. There is no guilt from women anywhere, women learnt a lot of their deceptive skills from men, it's just that whatever a man can do, a woman can do better. Deal with it.

      Not completely true.
As it is with some men on this blog so it is with some women.
But in most chronicles of adultery women show no pity to the husbands.
The women wet the post with celebrations and taunts of the man.
More pitiable are men who have fallen on hard times by job loss, etc.
Lastly, on a post like this, rarely would you see some of the blog's favourite acclaimed forthright Female Bvs.
If the post was about a man, they would have been the first with a scathing short comment.

    7. No gender is more evil or better than the other. Men and women are equally evil. It is the fallen nature of humanity.
Greed, envy , lust and selfishness drive men and women to great evil and inhumane acts.

Evil has only one race and gender - 'HUMAN-BEINGS'!
It's not about a particular gender or race.

Good people are only the human-beings who have yielded their spirits, souls and bodies to God's Holy Spirit and Word.

  11. "This man will never trust any woman again"

Would he not be the loser if he refuse to trust women.?

From your Editorial comments especially on copied posts and Female Bvs comments, is it not clear as day that ALL women are good?

Even on this case, and after a court judgment by a Female Judge, should female Bvs on this Blog not hear from the woman before Judging her?

As a man who has been well schooled on this blog, me must hear from the woman first O!
