Can you share the top Parenting Hacks that you use that actually works?
Do you use distraction as diplomacy? snacks as negotiation tools? or cartoons as temporary peace treaties?......I used cartoons ooooooh and it worked but i remember reading someone that allowing kids too much TV time interrupts their concentration process and they end up not being able to read and understand

I keep telling people that, there is no single accepted parenting hacks because every family will have to design the method that fit in properly for their own children.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was growing up, I was never a tv child(we had non) and I have friends who's parents are well to do. They had several tv to watch and even when I go to say hello, I prefer to games than watch tv. This doesn't make me smarter than them and it doesn't make them more intelligent than I do.
Every parents should design their own method. Nevertheless, the following should be strictly looked into..
*Spending too much time watching tv
*Been too attached to phones, laptops, and ipad(most especially when connected to internet)
*Always trying to run for responsibility . To mention but few.
Also, there is what we call Nature and Nurture Controversy. A child trained biblically and in all sort of positive manner can later become a killer while the one brought up in a wild environment can later become calm and responsible. Why? The answer is best answered if you understand the principles of growth and development.

Times have changed and God help us
ReplyDeleteI don’t know if it’s the children or their parents kind of parenting
You give a three year old kiddies tablet and he/she would be on it for over 5hours. Naaaa
My children aren't the TV type, they don't even fancy cartoons. Maybe it's because for a long time we didn't have TV, they do watch cartoons though but they're not hooked on it, my twins will rather draw and paint than watch TV, or they'd rather use the shoes and other things at home to play and act drama than watch TV. I don't have any hacks though, we just get by.
