E say if them fix the light probelm, things go change and men no go too sty house dey gbensh......I no come understand if he dey for or against the gbenshing.......

He is 100% correct. Looking back at the past, 60/70 years ago families were huge. It was not strange for a family to have 10,12, even 14 children. Even when men spent their days out in the field working all day, they still went home and gbenshed regularly because there was nothing to do after 6pm when it got dark. Social events were scheduled so that ppl would get home early because no light on the streets and hardly any vehicles at night, men went home to their families before sunset.
