APM And Gov Seyi Makinde Sue Gov Otti Over Alleged ₦200 Million Campaign Fee

The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and its presidential candidate, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, have filed a lawsuit against Abia State Governor Alex Otti over what they describe as the unlawful imposition of a mandatory ₦200 million campaign fee.


According to the party, the fee was allegedly demanded as a prerequisite for conducting campaign activities within Abia State.
APM argues that the charge has no legal basis and constitutes an obstruction to political participation.

      Are you making sense? Why should any Gov or the President impose a campaign fee on political parties? This is draconian! Alex Otti should rescind that obnoxious demand. If it were an APC Gov that did this, social media will be on fire. Nonsense decision by Otti
