Actress Damilola Adegbite Says Older Women Are Now The Premium Package In Dating

Nollywood actress Damilola Adegbite has shared a clear take on how views about older women and dating have changed.
She said society used to push the idea that once a woman reached a certain age, she should quietly step away from the dating scene, and that mindset made many women feel their time for love and partnership had passed.

She says that things have shifted and the tables have turned and that the older woman who was once overlooked has now become the premium package. She explained that younger men are boldly approaching women in their late thirties and early forties, and that a man can walk up to a thirty eight, forty or forty two year old woman, state his interest clearly and stand by it without shaking.

She says that the confidence is what stands out.

Damilola linked the change to a Bible verse, Psalm 118 verse 22, about the stone the builders rejected becoming the cornerstone.
In her view, the same idea now applies to older women in today’s dating world.
Damilola Adegbite 41 is known for her role in Tinsel and other projects. She was married to actor Chris Attoh and they share a son.

  2. I don't even consider those age older, as 30s and 40s are still childbearing age and many women are very youthful looking at those ages. Let the 50s and 60s women talk if these younger men are approaching them with serious intention.

  4. I can relate, my husband just married me not long ago.
I am in my early 40s and he is in early 30s a decade of gap. He is doing well for himself and I am doing well for myself, so it is not about me, been rich while him been poor. He is the best that, I have ever meet and I am a single mother not by choice but by things that I cannot change.

    1. I am happy she wrote about this topic because I thought about it last night. This is my current reality with younger men.

  6. Like, I genuinely thought the attention I attract would have reduced by now, but honestly it's still the same, if not even more.
    Attention from men and women.
    Single and married.
Weird but I've come to expect it and understand it.
Focus as always is on great health, money and a loving home.
