Comedian AY Responds To Call Out For Not Showing Up At His Show In Cardiff...
Comedian AY has broken his silence after being heavily dragged for not showing up at his UK show in Cardiff. He was supposed to perform his "AY Live: Single and Not Searching" show in Cardiff on Sunday at Valegate Retail Park. but fans waited for hours and there was no show....... There was serious commotion that led to the Police being called in before many eventually left disappointed after paying for tickets and seeing no show. AY has tendered an explanation
In his statement, he said: "To everyone who bought tickets and came out to see us in Cardiff, I sincerely apologise for the disappointment you experienced. Your time, money, and support deserve respect. My fellow comedians and I travelled to Cardiff to perform and eventually entered the venue. Unfortunately, unresolved payment commitments delayed our appearance, and by the time we arrived at the hall, most of the audience had left. You deserved a properly organised show and timely information. You should never have been caught in the middle of a payment dispute. For over twenty years, your support has helped build this brand. I value that trust and remain committed to honouring it."
He should have shown respect to his audience by appearing with his fellow comedians and then resolving the money issue after the show. Your customers are the reason why you're a comedian. They come first. Money issue can be handled later. This apology is medicine after death. Won't risk my money for this kind of comedians.

This explanation doesnt sound good oga AY. Hope he makes a refund or at least make it up to them somehow.
ReplyDeleteIf he is genuinely a professional who never stands up his audience then something must have happened there.
