A Tennessee death‑row inmate Christa Gail Pike stunned officials after she survived two full doses of the lethal injection drug meant to end her life.
Despite receiving the standard amount of pentobarbital twice, she remained alive, snoring, gasping and even kicking, forcing the state to halt the execution and rush her to a hospital.
Her lawyers called the failed procedure “unprecedented,” noting that no inmate has ever remained alive after the actual lethal drugs were administered.
The governor has suspended all executions and ordered a full investigation into what went wrong.
Pike, 50, was scheduled to be executed for the 1995 murder of Colleen Slemme.

This is nothing short of a miracle cos some other people even die before a single dose is finished into their system but she survived two full doses....!!!
Omo! Her case is trending like wildfire. She needs to be put out. Why even keep her on waiting list for this long!
ReplyDeleteI read the horrific story of how she unalived her age mate(she was 18yrs when she committed the crime) cause of her boyfriend. She felt the deceased was eyeing her boyfriend. Omo, it was HORRIFIC.

ReplyDeleteI pray they revisit her death judgement and don't let it slide just because she didn't die of the leather injection, she was a very wicked somebody that didn't deserve mercy, she brutally murdered and slaughtered Colleen Slemme just because she thought the late girl was her romantic rival.

Delete'Speaking to the media, multiple witnesses from the execution chamber said "nothing we saw was normal". They noted the process was "abnormally long", with the curtain being drawn at multiple points throughout the lethal injection being administered'. Investigation will tell us what happened very soon.
