Passengers Overpower FlyDubai Co‑Pilot After Violent Cockpit Attack
A FlyDubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv narrowly escaped disaster after the co‑pilot allegedly stabbed the captain mid‑air and tried to crash the aircraft.
The jet plunged thousands of feet before the wounded captain managed to unlock the cockpit door, allowing crew and passengers to overpower the attacker.
A reserve FlyDubai crew then took control and diverted the plane to Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, where all 174 passengers survived. The captain is recovering, the co‑pilot is in custody, and investigators are probing the motive behind what officials describe as a serious security incident. Passengers interviewed say it was a miracle that the captain fought through his injuries long enough to save everyone onboard.

Whoever Israel says they are, believe them. Such a sophisticated people. Imagine a co-pilot stabbing the chief pilot just to crash the plane. The pilot, in his own pool of blood, held on and pressed the cockpit button that opened the door so passengers could see what was happening and gain entrance into the cockpit. They were able to overpower the Oman co-pilot who had stabbed the chief pilot. A passenger then helped pilot the plane to Saudi Arabia. This is incredible. I thank God for their safety.
