Really? Nobody took him seriously? Maybe the politicians but a lot of regular people listened when he spoke (and sang.) If my memory serves me right, NAP (founded by Dr Tunji Braithwaite) took its philosophy from Fela's ideology. Some people just don't like hearing the truth.
