We all have times of the year that either brings us pain,makes us laugh or dates that just makes us marvel at the way things coincide... dates that we just dont want to remember or dates that we just cant forget.
Lets discuss these date and see what we share in common .
My most horrible date has got to be November 25th....the day my mama was committed to mother earth,i watched in shock and cried..i don't cry anymore but that date has got to be the worst time i hate to remember but that date doesnt go away because on that date i also have to celebrate life...
My crazy dates are the same November 25th cos my dad and father in law both share that day as birthdays.my late elder sister and my Oyibo mother in law share the same birthday March 19th.
Some celeb whom i love to bits shares the same wedding date in May with me..unplanned
Funny dates-Last year December,my son came to me with this look on his face and asked me ''Mama what do you use to make peepee?i have been looking and cant see anything and i am worried for you....''I was trying to explain,when he said ''Did you forget your thing to make peepee in Nigeria?''.
A year is a long time and now he understands that women and men are different but i still laugh...

ReplyDeleteDis year, i saw d gud, d bad and d ugly. My moda dat means a lot to me enterd coma on 1st May, died on 3rd May, buried on 31st May. Then God blessd me wit a BBB on 25 September. In 2011, i lost my only lovly broda on 27th Sept, buried 1st Oct, God also blessd me wit a son 14th July dat year. 6th Augut 2009 was d birth date of my 1st son. Those are d dates I can never forget in my life. Rest in peace mum and Bro. Rom my time wit u people on earth was too short. I beliv we wil stil meet again in heaven.

If ur bf wants u to wait then he should commit somehow without necessarily doing wedding otherwise he may not be that serious with you and may end up wasting your time then u end up with d wrong person out of desperation. Just pray for God to reveal ur own.

Dec 29th 2012 the day I lost my Dad,I rememmber frying akara in the kitchen and wishing he could eat frm it,his illness made me understand dis bible phase "your soul no longer finds pleasure in meat"...my Dad loved to eat,and usually called me his 2nd wife,and chief cook...buh alas his last days (6months) he took nuttin buh pap and tea,peed on himsef,and used pampers.....hmmm,I remmember crying to sleep every nyt,neva smiling,even when I managed to smile,d minute I hear his cry of pain,or when am nt home,and I tink of him I break...so on dis fateful day Dec 29th I was in d kitchen preparing akara for d family my uncle and mum was in d room talkin abt him(cus he had gotten worse,stil no medical explanation for his illnes,some said stroke,odas said parkinson,anoda said we shud take him to church,since his case defies medical explanation)hmmmm,and so he got worse,he cudnt recognise his children,cudnt talk or advice (my Dad loved to talk,he cud sit yu down and advice yu all day....*sobs*)and so I was in d kitchen when I heard a loud scream "your Dad has left me oooo" my mum was inconsolable, dey got married wen she was just 16,he was her father,her big brother,her best friend,and. Husband....I remember standin in shock,no tears no word came out of my mouth...I was numb,I only broke wen dey took my dad to d morgue,and I asked so dad wil spend dis nyt in d morgue???my sista held me and we cried in each odas arms...its 28 days to his 1st rememberance,I stil dnt know how I wil get thru dat day,d pain is stil so raw!!!

ReplyDeleteMy best date has to be my unique birth date, 8 of august; d bestest shd be d day I became a mother april 17 was and another child a year after july 12. Exciting date was dec 13 wen I came to Europe. Cool date will be my boo's birthday. Worst date will be march 10 wen I lost my mum, just 3mths after I got to Europe, I couldn't make her burial, I miss her terribly. she used to tell me she'd come to Europe to help me with my kids wen I hv dem, now dy r here she is gone, I cry even now. am still waiting for my most amazing date, I pray it comes soon. ReplyDeleteRead abt so many stories and am touched,for me 2013 has been very challenging,my worst date was 3rd of march ,my husband bit me and dragged me on the floor, threw away my belongings just because i challenged him of cheating,my birthday is 3rd of may but this year i was very down while my office ppl tried to make me happy and gave me a cake,2012 was the year i got married but i can not say am happy with the marriage,am in between, i pray 2014 brings joy,happiness and mercy and peace that supersedes human understanding,am still with my husband but i do not know where, how and when it will bring joy instead of sadness,argument,infidelity ,unfaithfulness.For the ones that has lost loved once God will console you all,for my good dates,oh well my be my first day in London August 24th 2012
