Majek Fashek who has been spotted several times in the streets of Lagos looking "scruffy and lean", begging for money and being laughed at by miscreants and mocked by people who once worshipped him.

  4. Nice one.
I wish to see a glimpse of the old Majek again.

Btw,are these rehabilitation centres a hush hush affair in Nigeria, because I have not heard or seen one before. A lot of people with addictions think they have to travel abroad to get the help they need.

  15. I don't know why some individuals capitalised in other pple's condition to enrich themselves.
    That's an abomination (aru).

God bless our billionaire Ayiri Emami for this kind gesture.
Buh I hope it doesn't end in the pages of newspapers or blogs.

Sir, Pls kindly get involved personally to ensure that your efforts wouldn't be scuffled by some greedy lots hanging around him now as relatives or friends. Ensure you personally remit the fund/ resources directly to the doctors / caregivers, no third party biko.

God bless Emami and his household. Amen.

#tears.... I used to dance to "send the rain" when I was a kid with other kiddies in my neighbourhood those days, usually when raining is falling, all of us would rush out naked, sang and danced to Majek's song.

  22. Seee the effects of doing drugs.....

    Very terrible.

Now they've made it look more easy on the ears - shisha, hookah even flavoured ones, lol.

Even young girls doing weed and sk without shame.

    I dey hear.

No matter what they look like, drugs kill and leaves most vital organ, the liver especially, a mess.

May God heal Majek and make his later days a testimony.

    God bless you Ayiri.

    Posterity will never forget.

I think the fight against drugs should be on the same level as the fight against corruption.

  24. They should stop all his dirty "ganja" smoking Rastafarian friends to stop seeing him . Just like dat one on extreme right . Cause an igbo proverb says " Oke soro ngwere ma mmiri oko cha n'aru ngwere o ga ko kwa n'aru oke ( 4 igbo BV's ). It's well Majek .
