DeleteI and my friend sowed seeds with our life savings in a pentecostal church some 5years ago. I have recovered from it but my friend has been a wreck and has not recovered till today.
DeleteMy lesson learned is to channel my generosity to ppl around me with needs and sow into human lives instead of a 419 pastor.
Lol@419 pastor.
DeleteSo many, but in all I am super grateful to God for seeing me through.

DeleteOn several occasions I have cheated death not because I am strong but for the grace and mercy of God upon me. I escaped gun shot from cultist in Port Harcourt one faithful night simply on the reason a guy who was their prime target was my friend.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know there was a serious issue involving him that made him stayed in my place but I thank God I was so quick in decoding the movement I saw that night. My house was ransacked and valuables carted away. Not quite long that friend of mine was killed one morning. I felt the pains and shock. Our last communication before his death was fruitful as he had promised to relocate and give his life to Christ but unfortunate he couldn't do that.
I appreciate God so much in all I have been through, even the day I almost drown in a river. So lot to say but words will fail me in trying to say them. It can only be God. To Him I have given my ALL and life has never been the same. My life is a testimony of the mercy and grace of God.
Ezege living a FABUlous life
DeleteWhat a FABUlous story. We thank God for ur life. I hate cultism and its killings
Deletei really do not know of his FABU oo,but one of it changed my life.
DeleteThere was a time he talked about mid night Prayers,i did and boom that long awaited thing happened or maybe it was a coincidence ....
But i am thankful to God.
Since he talked about mid night prayer, I have been doing that and I must say I’m seeing a difference. Any time I start the prayer mostly between the hours of 1:30 and 2: 30 am, I must say psalm 51, the prayer of mercy so that my prayer will not be hindered. Mid night prayer is not for the faint hearted, sometimes I’m too lazy to wake up, when my alarm rings like this, I will be so weak eeeh! but I try to push myself most times.
DeleteOh God help me, I think I need to join this midnight prayers, I have been so weak when it comes to praying. I get scared when I want to say mid night prayers, like one ojuju will come and catch me. I have to start
DeleteRosie happy hearing this testimony from you. Good you are getting result from the midnight prayers. Like I do say, it's not easy but one have to try.
DeletePls 16:37, Did you sing and pray aloud? Pls I need to know if silent prayers work. I have been doing it but I can't make noise because of the others in the apartment. Teejay, will silent prayers work for me at midnight? No praise and worship because of noise. I really need need miracle in my life
DeleteMummy J,how do deaf and mute people pray?
DeleteDoes God ignore their prayers because they are not destroying the prayers of others with their petitions.
Thank you Father is a prayer.
Prayer is communication.
Prayer goes far beyond a laundry list of never ending requests- something Nigerians know nothing about.
Yes mummyJ
DeleteSilent prayers, as in praying quietly not to disturb others? If that is what you mean then I will say yes it can work provided your faith is super strong. But again you can't pray a prayer of warfare without praises and worship, it can't function fine. Prayers should go with praises and worship, they bring down God's glory and presence than prayer.
DeleteYou can sing moderately without much voice and also pray in such tempo if the environment warrant you not to praise and pray aloud. For midnight prayers to be more effective you must praise, so important. At such moment principalities and demons scamper and bow down to the sovereign powers of the most high God. So in summation you can praise and pray moderately if the environment warrant it so, and yes it works.
Thanks all. I appreciate your replies
DeleteI had a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. It was already bleeding inside, had to do an emergency surgery. Thank God for early detection.A very traumatic experience.
ReplyDeleteThank God for you. God will make you smile again Amen
DeleteThat was the day I birth my first son, it all started in 2004 after my traditional and church wedding in august, I had to travel with my husband to his village in nnewi to spend the Christmas holiday with his widowed mother, when we got to the village, I was mandated to go greet all my co-wives as their custom demand young/old, there is this particular woman who we are call mama, I went to her apartment to greet her in company of my sis-inlaw, on getting there we were informed she is having her bath, waited for close to 2hrs, she was not forthcoming, after awhile my Sista Inlaw become angry and decided to go see what is still keeping her, only for her to get to the back and see this mama peeping from the window to see if we were still there or not, trust sis-inlaw, she read the signs that this woman never wanted to see me, so she hurriedly dragged my hand and we left, fast-forwaed to 2005 I became pregnant, I told hubby not to tell anyone including family members, this same mama sent her second son to my home here in lagos, each time he comes, he always met my absence, and he will start questioning hubby like "what about your wife? Is she pregnant, cos so many people have issues and they will not speak out" speqk out so we will know what to do" trust hubby he will answer in affirmative "I don't know cos she is still the same, no changes, I don't think she is pregnant" fast forward to June 2006 I was in labour for 16hrs, I screamed, begged to be operated upon, quoted every scriptural reference I knew, finally I was given assisted labour with lots of cut on v. Baby to cry out wahala, took the grace of God, finally baby cried out, I was finally cleaned up and moved to the ward, there and then hubby started calling family members. Not barely 10mins after calling his mother, she called back and was screaming at the top of her voice, that mama just died some 30mins ago, saying thank God she will finally carry a child given birth to by her son, that she had a quarrel with mama and she told her over her dead body, none of her son's will bear children,my people on hearing this I cringed, what a world, the day of my baby arrival to earth, she (mama) left the earth. I began to wonder how someone suffers for something he/she knows nothing about. That is one unforgettable experience. Hmm
ReplyDeleteNa wa o

Second time I am hearing similar stories.
DeleteMy best friend had almost exactly this kind of story as his birth story.
Thank God for you.
DeleteGnM, did you read the story at all? It is not her MIL.
Alelujha God has given you victory.
DeleteHmmm...people just hate on you for no reason at all. This life!
DeleteThank God for you and thank God for the spirit of Wisdom
DeleteOMG,na waooo. Thank God for you and ur baby.
DeleteGoodness and Mercy, did you pass comprehension while in school? Did she say the particular mama she was talking about was her MIL?
DeleteMy next door neighbours were Columbians with loads of drugs in their apartment, we were friends, helped out sometimes, the day I gave them their last package that I hid at my apartment for them, F.B.I, Dutch police came bursting! I was picked up but released within hours! Those guys were extradited to the U.S. I believe they are still chopping beans now. Kraanest has since been demolished, but I no fit forget that experience ever!

DeleteGiving birth to my princess 30 days ago was a life changing experience for me. I now appreciate my mum, sis and all mothers on a whole new level. It also made value little things I hitherto wasn't keen about, like sneezing , coughing, etc.

DeleteFew hours after birthing my baby via Cs, told my mum I was feeling hot automatically my baby and I were supposed to change direction that I wanted to lay directly under the fan BT she said no.. Thank God for that word No few minutes past midnyt my mum woke up and we discovered that our bag has been stollen, d exact spot I was to lay my baby... I keep thanking God it was d bag dey stole and not my baby.
ReplyDeleteAll thanks to God, they took away your bag of problems and not your precious.
DeleteWas your bag stolen in the hospital you birthed? That's bad.
DeleteWalking out of my abusive marriage was my life changing experience, my joy, happiness, love life, peace of mind is now what give me happiness in life.

ReplyDeleteGist us Eka, my ears are itching. Lol...
DeleteCongrats Eka joy
DeleteI am so happy for you.
I had an angel few years back, she was already dead before she was pulled out...I didn't cry, didn't feel any sense of loss,i stared into space as they tried to revive her.
ReplyDeleteSomething in me died that day. I still wonder if my hatred for your father made you not stay. Or you knew deep down I wasn't ready to be a mother.
I wanted to cry like a mother who lost a child, but I couldn't. I was alive but dead. Was it relief I felt or was it regret?
I no longer remember.
I lost an angel few years back.
Wow. Poster. It is well.. I can only imagine what u passed thru
DeleteI married a virgin and yet to be pregnant. I am surprised that I have to wait to conceive but I excel in everything else. I pray God remember me
ReplyDeleteGod will surly remember you dear!
DeleteTake ur mind off it. Ull get pregnant
DeleteSurely you are the daughter of Zion and now is the time to remember her so says God Almighty according to His Words that never fails Amen
DeleteEyah. Sorry for the delay. Have your hubby gone for tests? Do all the necessary things medically and most importantly, consult Doctor Jesus too and keep pestering him, you will carry your babies.
DeleteBeing a virgin doesn't guarantee you are fertile. Go for medical check up with your husband.
DeleteDoc A.
My own is the death of my dearest hubby.
ReplyDeleteEverything changed, it was like a dream, still like a dream. Friends and relatives surprised me. People only love you when you don't have problems. I pray God keeps my children and make them excel in life. I pray he also gives me the strength to train them and give me long life to eat the fruits of my labour. May God bless all women who are now 'God's wives'
I lost my immediate elder brother who was a medical doctor barely 9 months into his 11-month housemanship. 'Dr Monk'as we fondly call him was brilliant and very focused. He always made us smile.
ReplyDeleteHe slumped Infront of his mom- died of exhaustion. Heard doctors downed their tools for a while after his death but as far as I was concerned none of that matter. My family had lost a lovely gem.We never thought it was possible...never!!
By the time I was doing my convocation in December his name was also among but he was 3months in the grave...that was when it hits me. life!!
Six years going, in a few days time...we can attest to God's faithfulness.
As a person, I now think differently about life, faith, fate, family, dreams, destiny and the true essence of life.
Don't also forget that Nigeria is a useless country, lives don't matter!!
Rest on :CepharWharido'.
Quite sad
DeleteMay the Lord continue to strengthen you and your family!
It is well
DeleteGod will continue to comfort you. Affliction shall not arise a second time. I know how it feels I have been there. Lost 2 brothers in their prime
So anonymous 20:02...dis our medical profession and any other job for that matter is not worth dying for? Exhaustion, really? Me ehn once im tired, i take a break "tissue" disappear. The worse dat wud happen is shout. Wats my own. I sick, i stop work "sick leave". Its well. May God continue to comfort all who have lost a loved one. Amen
ReplyDeleteThe day I was raped through the anus by a cultist at gunpoint was my life changing experience.
ReplyDeleteI was 16years, a virgin,a naive 1st year student, very intelligent but very naive and I paid for it. He wanted to go via the vagina but I was menstruating so my anus was the next option for him.
I called for death but it didn't come, the feel of that cold gun resting on my neck as he tore my anus is a feeling I will never forget and for days I literally couldn't seat down due to the pains.
I became depressed, attempted suicide and at the end, Jesus came calling and the peace that eluded my spirit came over me.
My result that year was the best ever; all "As" and it was God.
16years later, the memory comes and goes, I've taught myself not to dwell on it, I've forgiven him and the experience taught me the power of forgiveness, that there's a name that calms and mends any broken heart/spirit and that even in the midst of the storm, you can still have peace 😊
Oh my lord! See me holding my asshole tight with my might. Sorry about that. ..rape is a bitter experience I don't even wish for my enemy. The psyc trauma 4 life 😱😨
DeleteHoly Moses!!!
DeleteI’m so sorry love!
That is horrible.... so horrible.
No way dear, it shall not be well with that idiot. May he be subdued, tortured and feel 10 times the pain he put you through. People are just too wicked. I thank God for your healing, it is well with you my darling.
DeleteMy own testimony is my mum.Around March I got a call that my mum had a stroke and I travelled immediately to see her. It was the worse experience of my life. I was weeping seeing my vibrant mum of only 57paralysed and could not move. God you came through for me. She miraculously got functions of those body parts and has 100 percent recovery of a stroke victim. The doctors said they will use her case as a case study because you can hardly have 100percent recovery.I appreciated life more and I believe strongly in miracles.
