These are some pictures from Abia Warriors match against Enyimba FC at Umuahia township stadium on Sunday.
They resorted to violence after Abia Warriors were awarded a penalty kick.
The match was called off by officials in the 24th minute as it became a free for all fight and the mob of angry fans of both clubs refused to leave the pitch .

Very local...Smh
ReplyDeleteAnd if the fights were by British hooligans it would have been "very international?"
DeleteShame to the fanatics who can't respect official football rules.
ReplyDeleteEnyimba has always been synonymous with things like this. I remember years back when I followed my then bf to watch their match at Aba, they scored and some of their supporters removed their clothes and were running around stark naked. See black dicks dangling up and down, local beer belle shooting out. Traumatic sight. Local club.
ReplyDeleteHow far have this players gone that they can't respect the referee decision, even the likes of cr7 and Messi after all and all them go still obey na wah o
ReplyDeleteNPL matches are always enmeshed in violence, Enyimba and Abia warriors, two club from the same state yet they chose to fight instead of playing football.
