INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD



I love perfumes and I love combining different ones and I am always thrilled when anyone compliments how nice I smell.


Rewind to pregnancy period, I couldn’t stand the smell of perfumes, deodorants and strong scented soaps. I would go into a sneezing fit and would have headaches.

I was looking forward to when I gave birth so I would revive my love for perfumes and it all stopped after I gave birth.

After we had the baby, we noticed he would go into a sneezing fit anytime my husband got close to him, within days we realised it was his perfume .. he was reacting too. He would have serious nasal congestion anytime he was around strong smelling things.

Same thing happened with my second, they are better now and not as sensitive as before but I still haven’t revived my love for perfumes because I don’t want to trigger them.





So you dont use perfumes? OMG, i am a perfume addict ad i cant imagine ot using one, I even used most the times i was pregnant... was like food to my soul...LOL

When it comes to marriage, I would say everyone knows what they want in a partner and how they want the union to be. I don't think people wake up one morning and get married the next day.

 There are steps to be followed but above every planning and preparation towards marriage, one needs to be mentally, financially and emotionally stable to go into one. Even with these three, it still doesn't guarantee a lasting marriage. 

It takes God’s Grace to keep a marriage going. 

Around 2018, a childhood friend who was also a secondary school class mate visited and sought my opinion on an issue. There's this lady he has known for sometime and has also been in communication with. The lady lives comfortably and doing very well in business. My friend though a graduate and unemployed, but with a good skill in pipeline welding and safety management. 

In one of their discussions, this lady confidently told him to relocate from Port Harcourt city to Bonny Island where she was based with the assurance of helping him get a job over there or give him money to start a business with a clause -MARRIAGE. 

According to him she likes him and has been sending some little financial assistance to him. He came to seek my opinion about the marriage thing. I asked him if he truly loved this lady. He was silent for a while and thereafter responded that he had no love for her but liked her as a friend. I asked why? He said she was older than him and she was a plus size. But if that was the only way to succeed and survive in life, he could consider it. 

"This is a tough one."  I said to him. Love comes first in making the decision of a life partner. Yes feelings can grow and develop inside marriage but not in all instances. The only advice I will give you now just like I always say to myself is, "You need to find yourself first before committing to another." Those words struck a chord in him. I told him, you have a good skill. Why not seek for job and establish yourself first before thinking of marriage. A man only commands respect when he has something meaningful doing for a living. 

Months later he met a man that carried him along for work. He started from there and today I make bold to say, he has found his path in life and doing just fine for himself. 

Few weeks ago, we were all together as he planned for his introduction to Marriage. He wants me to go with him along side his family and some persons.  I feel so happy for him and promised to give him all the necessary support I can. 

I sensed the joy and happiness listening to him talk about this new woman of his. I know when a man truly loves a woman. The feeling is so strong and immeasurable. 

Love is a beautiful thing when you get it right.

The story doesnt always end like this, sometimes both genders marry for upliftment, without ay love whatsoever in the beginning but as time goes love sometimes grows.

Sometimes also, the ones that start in crazy love, dont always finish the Journey... Marry someone you have an understanding with, Marry your friend.

I dont really like to read advice from single people concerning marriage or see single people judging married folks who makes mistakes and have to divorce... wait until you wear that shoe before you join the convo..

This Country is not safe anymore


The fear of bullet is the beginning of wisdom, that's if I'm allowed to put that word that way.


There is a guy(Northerner) who sells oranges, water-lemon,dates and co(fruits) around Seed Of Life School. There are some hausas who are okada riders that  come to his stand to gist with him and also pray beside his fruits stand everyday. Sometimes, they can be up to 8-10 and their bikes will be parked down there too. Some will leave their keys in the ignition while praying or gisting.


One day last week, around 4pm, some boys(like 4-5) came exactly the time those bike men were praying including the fruit seller, they came with gun(s) and shot at the fruit seller because he was the one who stood up first immediately after praying and all other hausas left their praying mat and ran as fast as furious. The guys left with three bikes and also shot into the air twice after shooting the fruit seller on his leg in order to scare people away.


I have never seen where northerners run as fast as furious because of gun because I always know hausas don't run for gun because of their juju but this time around, they all ran away. The guys took those bikes successful and no one could stop them. The fruit seller was quickly rushed to a nearby hospital.


When they came and pulled their trigger, I left my POS bag and the money left because when there is life, there is hope. I wonder why someone will wake up one day and decide to steal from people to the extent of shooting their prey.them...


hmmmmmm.. Nigeria my country

Na wah.... Stories like this is damn scary... Please try to close early with this your POS business so that you dont become a target....

*A Disgraceful Moment...... Is when during an Evangelism exercise, a #Prostitute waves at you from the other side of the road and shouts "CUSTOMER YOU NO GO COME TODAY ?" 

*I attended a crusade and someone touched my shoulder and said "YOU WILL WALK".* *I didn't bother because I knew I was not lame.
After the crusade, I touched my pocket and I couldn't find my wallet which contained my transport fare ,Behold, I WALKED*!!
