Hey!

Hope you had a great Weekend? I pray you have a great start in the new week...... Avoid toxic people and situations by all means.

  1. Speak God's Language!!
    1 Corinthians 2:13.

    Excerpts!!

"An heir is someone who has an inheritance bequeathed to him, a legal inheritor of an estate or position of high authority and wealth. However, as long as the heir is a child, he's not different from a servant"

"The Word translated child is nepios one who's unable to talk right or communicate wisely. Someone can be forty years in Christianity and still be a nepios, he can't form the right words in the realm of the spirit"

"The way to learn and speak God's language is by studying and meditating on the Word. Our theme verse says we're to speak words which the Holy Ghost teaches - words of wisdom from and by the Spirit. So, get yourself trained in the Word of God and have the Word in your heart and on your lips always, irrespective of the circumstances"

    Confession!!

I speak the wisdom of God in esoteric language. In Christ Jesus, I've been given dominion over circumstances, and I'm superior to Satan and the forces of darkness. The life God has given me in Christ is that of great glory and excellence, where I prosper in all things, by His Word! I'm full of wisdom, glory and strength. Hallelujah!

    Further Study:
    1 Corinthians 2:7; 1 Corinthians 2:12-13; Hebrews 13:5-6

    2. Heavenly father, king of Glory, I thank you for your mercies and faithfulness. If not for you, where would we be? I return all the glory and adoration to you. Let your hand of power, rest upon our homes and lands. Let your will alone, be done in Nigeria, show the world that you need no man to show you the greatest of all. This week father, meet your children, at the points of our needs, cover our going and coming with the Blood of Jesus! Thank you Jehovah, in Jesus mighty name I have prayed. Amen!

  2. As today marks the beginning of a new day and a new week, we pray that God will renew everything that’s in us and take us to a new level in Jesus name πŸ™
Today is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it,not because we have all that we wanted but because we are grateful to God for the gift of a new life and a new day.
We worship and bless your holy name, as there’s none like You. Baba.
We ask for your strength to overcome any obstacles on our path to success today and bless us, so we can also be a blessing to others in Jesus name πŸ™

  4. OBEY GOD, REGARDLESS.
Jesus...learned obedience from the things he suffered.' Hebrews 5:8 NLT

The rewards of obedience are awesome, but sometimes the process is agonising. 'Even though Jesus was God's Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered. In this way, God qualified him' (Hebrews 5:8-9 NLT). Before God promotes you to a position of usefulness in his service, he qualifies you.
We admire the faith of Abraham who took his son Isaac up Mount Moriah and laid him on the altar. But the story doesn't make sense until you read the first verse in the chapter: 'Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham' (Genesis 22:1 NKJV). What did God test? His faith! His obedience! And when he passed the test, God told him, 'I will certainly bless you. I will multiply your descendants beyond number' (Genesis 22:17 NLT). When you pray and ask God for success, you're inviting him to test your faith and obedience. God probably won't test you at the same level he tested Jesus or Abraham. But it's the smaller tests that prepare you to handle the bigger assignments in God's kingdom.
In The Screwtape Letters, C.S. Lewis' senior devil talks to his nephew Wormwood about their mutual enemy, the Lord. 'Do not be deceived, Wormwood. Our cause is never more in danger than when a human, no longer desiring, but still intending to do our Enemy's will, looks round upon a universe from which every trace of him seems to have vanished, and asks why he has been forsaken, and still obeys.' The obedience God desires from you today is obedience that rises above your feelings and circumstances and says, 'Yes, Lord!'

    3. Stop being bias, feeling you are giving it to man. Just drop the whole 10% tithe before God's alter and keep your mind off whatever its been used for or who takes from it. Its to God, only HIM sees your heart and will reward you accordingly kk.

Play your part and let God handle the rest

You are a senior ancestor on this blog because I met you here, so first of all, please accept this bottle of Seaman's aromatic schnapps and 36 native kolanuts from me as a sign of blog respect and atonement for the things I'm about to stateπŸ™ŒπŸ».

You are one of those (male or female) that I've never seen glorify crime or applaud criminals on this space and that is something some of us would always applaud and respect. You are equally one of the dudes here who take pride in their handiwork and I kinda remember there was a time you volunteered to train some BVs in your Iine of business at a minimal fee or @no fee at all. Very commendable too. You obviously love and enjoy life and living and everything in between. You most definitely love your movies and enjoy analysing and recommending them in your sweet boyish way. A typical happy-go-lucky kinda guy, free-spirited but with a veeeeery naughty personalityπŸ™„. You don't actually go out of your way to look for trouble but if trouble tries to find you, it better be ready for war because e go too collect. Dem dey whyne Edo boy?

But seriously now Kelvin, who use bwess matter swear for you? Chai! You don't know how grateful to God I am that you are neither an Ob-gyn nor a judge. I believe say na only babes wey carry for front you for dey attend to for hospital or na only dem for dey win case for your courtroom. Kelvin and person go dey talk better matter dey go but once anything wey concern bwess show kpenren, o ti lo! Bwess yi no ni! Oya Kelvin, coman vote for FOIHN; if you like fine pass Priyanka Chopra, e no concern Brethren Kelvin. As long as you no get big bwess, you cannot win ordinary plastic spoon if he is the judge. Him bwess matter serious pass heart attack; even deliverance no fit solve am.

In all, it doesn't matter [even] if you take a break, cos you always come back like you never left: same name, same ID, same personality, same vibe over the years and we totally enjoy having you here. Much love bro.

It's a beautiful new week of blessings.

    Harmattan is here.
If you normally have cracked heels or serious dry skin during this period, walk into a pharmacy store and get yourself a bottle of glycerine. Use it on the heels morning and night after washing. You can add small quantity to your body cream and use on your body . Don't use it alone on your face and other exposed body parts, it darkens. If you don't want to mix it with your body cream, you can apply it on your hands and legs after applying your body cream. It's been saving my skin over the years.

    Out already, hustle must continue.

  33. Somewhere in my head,I just concluded that due to the house rent in Lagos Island, any person working at any company based there would be earning from 150k upwards.

Read a post yesterday regarding house rent vs Salary(saying if your two months salary can’t cover your rent then you shouldn’t be staying there) and some said they were earning below 50k;I really thought it was a joke..

Still can’t believe till now, like the Lagos island? Islanddddd??

How then do you pay your rent? T-fare and feeding for those coming from the mainland Nko?

No,it’s like there are two Lagos Island in this Lagos cos una no explain well to me when I dey Aba oo..

Also, there are some jobs where you earn 50k as salary but the tips and other smor smor money that you get everyday is like triple of your salary e.g if you work in a Warehouse, fuel station, fastfood joint, club, hotel, supermarket, restaurant, some government agencies, some private companies, etc

    3. Living in Lagos is never easy@all.the more income you make, the more it's goes out very quickly from you especially moving from the island to the mainland.its horrible.its just God grace and mercy.this is one reason why most people living in Lagos are angry people,u can hardly find a smiling face on the street of lagos.if u step on the foot of someone by mistake probably hurrying to catch an appointment,u get so much insults thrown@u,cos every one seem to be frustrated with the lifestyle of Lagos state.

      Bobo, forget the hype oh..
There are slums on the island, asin real ghetto neighborhood with cheap rents, that's where some of them live. Houses without toilets..

Some are like 10 staying in one room.. some are squatting with friends..

Some are doing hook up as side hustle to be able to live there comfortably.. etc etc..

Many years ago, that should be in 2014, I never knew slums where on the island as my outings there were malls and clubs, during the times of movida, troy etc etc.. until in 2014, this my guy took us to where they call small kuramo.. bobo, Sodom and Gomorrah got nothing on it.. come see ladies walking naked, drunk guys lying on the ground, Asin it looked like another world entirely, when we ordered drink, as per my guy na big boy so him order expensive drink, as them dey carry the drink come, dem carry 3 chicks attach with am for us say it comes with the drink Lol.. Lagos isn't for the faint hearted though I still like to live there but under better condition

    11. There are slums in all parts of Lagos.
I remember when we were contemplating if we should leave Lagos or get a cheap one room in the ghetto part of Maryland instead. Me and hubby went to one of his friends in Maryland, that neighbourhood where jesu oyingbo's house is, the man took us across to that area where they make baskets. The place is close to one thick bush and swamp. There are slum houses there built with iron sheets , 150k annual rent but being the first payment, we were told to pay double of the amount to cover agency and others. The houses did not have good toilets and bathrooms. Very dirty neighborhood. They said they set traps for wild animals there as a result of the thick forest.

Me and hubby went back home and decided we were leaving Lagos for good.
