Sometime ago,I went to shape my eyebrow, the guy used a blade and the boss told him to use the other side for another customer.
I was expecting the customer to object but she didn't say anything,I was so angry and told them how much is blade that you want to be sharing one blade with customers?? I collected my blade and kept it in my bag, I know in their minds they'll be thinking I'm stingy but who cares.
Or is it when I went for my child's immunization and the nurse used the needle to pinch herself while removing it from the pack, she even did shhhh, that means it really pinched her and she still wants to go ahead and use it, the way I had to stop her from using the needle for my child, she quickly trashed it and told me sorry, another person would have kept quiet but not me, I know the danger cos I don't know her health status.

These are ways hiv can be transmitted asides s#x, and not by eating ,playing, sleeping on the same bed or sharing toilets with infected person.
We can educate ourselves so as to know how to protect ourselves and our loved ones.
May God help us. i will never contact the disease no matter how careless i might be in Jesus name.
ReplyDeleteNo matter how careless you say? Book your arv in advance dear

DeleteAnon 15:58, you say what 🤣🤣 he should book his drugs just like that?
DeleteMumu man
DeleteBut some nurses can be very careless, imagine piercing yourself with a needle and wanting to use it on a patient, that is stupidity of the highest order.
ReplyDeleteThanks for educating us🙏🏼
Some persons are very careless and some carefree. I'm not even too comfortable sharing all those salon's combs sef.
ReplyDeleteHIV no dey show for face ooh.
Sure, most people I know living with it are looking so healthy and radiant
DeleteYou brought up a poignant point. I've been avoiding any haircuts in a 1st world country because of the rampant sharing of clippers that I see. People just walk into a barbershop and sit for the barber even to the point of doing "friction". Can you verify that their UV ray thing is still working? No rest for the wicked, you just cut person after person , no break, till the clipper starts complaining then you bring out another one you used oil to polish and the struggle continues. They are not open to considering the rampant drug use, reckless sexual behaviour and sex trade and the fact that some people's immunity against hiv is "it can't be me" so they are eating all sorts of forbidden fruits without protection (because planned sin is worse) outside marriage and having mass shaving as part of social culture only to hide the truth from their trusting spouse when they are diagnosed? No, I'll go with DIY.
