ReplyDeleteFirst and foremost, before coming to my house, the reason should be stipulated. Is it visitation? If yes the duration should be stated. If it's omugwo, there's a timeframe for it. If it's to live with us, it should also be stated so that adequate preparations should be taken into consideration.

ReplyDeleteAs long as she wants. My mother in-law is a chief. Married over 20 years. She never slept in our house. She comes bearing goodies,plays with her her grandkids and leaves,towards evening. 🙄🙄🙄

ReplyDeleteDepends on the kind of MIL you are. As a MIL myself, I never set foot anywhere uninvited. In fact I travel so much and love my holidays, my kids, their wives and my grandkids hardly see me. One time, instead of going for long omugwo, I paid for cleaning services, night nurse and food deliveries. I am lazy and I like my rest, my space and enjoyment LOL
