  14. Some of us are product of the good prayers said on our heads by our loving parents. No child born in this life would've ever gotten lost or drifted away from God whose head received the kind of prayers I had while growing up, most especially from my Mom.

Normalize praying for your children at all times. Prayers said on their heads have a way of turning them back for good even after years of wandering astray.

    Good Morning Mutuals.

  16. "Prayers move the hand that moves the world, while praises bring His presence and power into action in defence of his saints.

”Prayers and praises are tremendous and invaluable weapons used by God’s people over the ages to confound and destabilize forces of darkness and enemies of the Church. The combination has given believers outstanding victories when faced with personal, family, or national issues.

We must therefore learn to praise God at all times and share testimonies of the goodness of God in our lives and homes.

We must not take anything for granted and never consider anything too small to testify about.

Prayer and praise will move God’s hand and bring His presence into our situations.

    Good morning πŸ’•

  20. Using Osita Iheme's post as an example:

I still find it difficult to understand why some Nigerians struggle to respect other people’s opinions on how to live their personal lives.

Not everyone wants to get married or have kids.

Once you say you don’t want to marry, as a lady, they’ll say you just couldn’t find a husband and are pretending not to want marriage to console yourself.
    As a man, they’ll say you’re gay.

Or if you say you don’t want to have kids, they’ll say you’re barren or impotent,
or that you’ll be lonely and suffer in old age.

Most Nigerians fail to understand that marriage and having children go beyond age and financial stability.
No one ever talks about mental stability.
Maybe that’s why we have so many divorces and emotionally damaged children in our society today.

Some people are married but still feel lonely in the marriage, and some have children yet still suffer in old age.

“Motherhood rocks!” is the chant we often hear, but no mother or father ever genuinely talks about the mental stress that comes with raising kids.

Get married and have children if you want to — but don’t force others to do the same if they don’t want to.

I’m married with only one child, and I know the kind of nonsense and unsolicited advice I get from people on a daily basis.
They won’t even try to understand your reasons.
They’ll just say, “You have money and you’re still young.”

I think I’ll start being rude with my replies.

  22. Divine Health: Your Heritage In Christ!!
    3 John 1:2.

"Too often, people find themselves trapped in a cycle of illness and health issues. One week they’re in the hospital, and the next, they're at the pharmacy, seeking medications for one ailment or the other. This shouldn’t be your experience as a child of God. Don’t allow such in your life."

"Use words; your tongue is your tool for control; use it to rebuke the ailment. Use it to cut out any infirmity, growth or anomaly from your body."

    Prayer!!

Dear Father, I thank you for the gift of divine health, my inheritance in Christ Jesus. I’m healthy and strong, and I walk in the fullness of the divine life. Every fibre of my being is inundated with eternal life. Hallelujah!

I'm grateful to God for giving me this humble and respectful daughter, cos I was just thinking, when I was her age,I was so rude and started talking back to my mum despite the fact that she raised us with Cain, but I became rigid and rude.y daughter will never looked at any adult in their face, if you scold her, she'll knee down without being told and say sorry. 24. The future most of us are hurrying to meet is here and we don't even realise it.

The hustling of life has made a lot of people forget about how to live life, some people has never taken time out to breathe and enjoy life and before one knows it, old age has come if one is lucky enough to live long, the enjoyment we can enjoy now can't be the same at old age. God abeg o

To think most of us has the dreams of going to abroad to live or for vacation but have never smell the inside of a plane before talkess of travelling in it, baba sa'anu oo. I used to have a friend that all his aim in life was travelling abroad, he was so certain that his success is tied abroad so he didn't do much that to be applying for visas and even learning some foreign languages to boost his chances of travelling, he got sick for just few days and that was it. He never really lived cos his aim was centred on traveling. God have mercy
