The senate seeks compensation of ₦200 million to Ivan’s family, beyond the ₦25 million already paid and also continued treatment for Ivan’s younger brother, Eromonsele, who sustained a serious eye injury....
The senate also urged the Attorney General of the Federation to ensure prosecution of the NDLEA officer responsible.
Senator Adams Oshiomhole said “Uniform should never be a license to kill innocent people.” while Senate President Akpabio extended condolences and called the tragedy a “reminder of the need for accountability in law enforcement.”
