Veteran Nollywood actress, Opeyemi Aiyeola, has disclosed why she blocked her colleagues after marriage.
Speaking on OyinmomoTv she said:
“I was off the scene for more than ten years, and I apologized to my fans. I held my marriage in high esteem, so I blocked everybody’s contact in the industry.
Let’s appreciate our lovers because they caused it. Some of them will say practitioners don’t have stable homes or lives, but they don’t know what happens behind those relationships. So, because I didn’t want my own to be like that, I blocked everyone from the industry for 10 years.
I unblocked everybody when I finally returned to focus on my career. I have two boys, and I have sacrificed everything for them. They should now allow me to also carve my own career”

What sort of selfish and arrogant human being are you for thinking only about yourself, blocking your colleagues and friends and then unblock them after years expecting them to welcome you back. DeleteIt's the stupidest thing I've heard in a long time. Many women juggle career and home successfully. It's like saying because you are eating then you won't breathe. It's called work-life balance. It's not perfect but with a focused efforts and planning women can do it successfully.
