‎EX Minister Amaechi Reveals Things He Will Do If He Becomes Nigeria's President

Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has vowed that he would change the Nigerian constitution if elected President in 2027.

‎Amaechi made the vow while speaking during an X space tagged ‘Weekend Politics’, on Friday.
‎He also vowed to end corruption within one month as President, or resign.

‎“If I become President I will change the constitution from indigeneship to citizenship.
‎If I do not end corruption in Nigeria within one month, I will tender my resignation.
‎I challenged the present FCT minister Wike to take a walk along the streets of Port Harcourt, which will reveal who is healthy and who the people actually loved,” the ex-Rivers governor said.

‎He also alleged that some influential people in the country visit to the Central Bank of Nigeria, CNN, to steal money.

‎Amaechi further described Professor Yakubu Mahmood as the worst Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

‎“It enrages me that those very influential among the ruling class visit CBN often to steal money, if they could use all the money they are pocketing to improve security and the economy, Nigeria wouldn’t be in such dire straits today.

‎The worst INEC chairman in the history of Nigeria is Mahmood Yakubu,” he said.
‎He said he would not reverse the removal of subsidy if elected President.
‎Rather, he promised to direct the funds into the pockets of Nigerians.
‎“I will not reverse the removal of subsidies. I will instead direct the funds into the pockets of Nigerians, not the elite,” he added.

  1. See as grenades just fly hit the Obiakpor man and Yakubu on Ameachi political manifestation😂😂

Amaechi should be realistic for God's sake. Are we kids? How do you say you'll end corruption in one month? The Nigeria that's fantastically corrupt where corruption fight back. Make him no dey whine us abeg. The kind of things you tell a woman on bed when you wanna ejaculate. You don't even mind promising aeroplane to her at the heat of the moment all in the name of 'cuming'

Does the President has the power to change a constitution? The NASS do. He can only append his signature to the bill.

  4. No president can change Nigeria in 8 yrs not to talk of one month. It would take atleast 20yrs between several administrations for Nigeria to experience a shift. And all the leaders within that period must have one mind and same vision...otherwise we keep running around in circles, making it even more difficult to achieve that goal.

The "Democracy" first is the problem. Let's forget about PDP and APC and first agree we are one. Then we would begin to make progress.
    Happy Sunday.

  8. A man who governed a small state of people always moving away needed 8 years to make a dent and crowned his tenure with a clown who was clearly colossally unprepared and unable just because of personal politics of bitterness.
Now , he says he wants to work miracles in 4 years.

This statement has already been dismissed as comical by those who actually understand numbers and leadership but to capture the attention of simpletons, Mr Almost an industrialist wants to work wonders in 4 weeks. You can gain 48 billion and top it with a rolls Royce but other corrupt Nigerians like you should start dieting.

Let the other people that would claim to change Nigeria overnight please stand up and join them so they can ask be swept away at the next polls at once.

No one can even pretend to say they will reverse the needed subsidy removal or undo any of the reforms because they know there's was no other way. Unfaithful government contractors, importers of fuel and salad cream that didn't produce anything in 8 years of stewardship should not distract serious minded people please.
