A woman can be praised for holding her home while starving for intimacy. A man can be respected in public while lying beside a wife who hasn’t touched him in years. We’ve turned human need into a shameful secret as if admitting it makes you weak.

S*xless marriages don’t die in a day. They start with emotional withdrawal. Then unspoken resentments. Then unmet needs.

Then touch becomes rare. Then awkward. Then gone.
Still, the couple smiles at weddings. They teach others how to make marriage work.They just forget to mention the part about living like strangers under the same roof.
Some couples sleep side-by-side every night yet haven’t touched each other’s souls or skin in years.
When the bedroom goes cold, the whole house becomes a freezer. t’s not always adultery that kills a marriage.
Sometimes it’s the quiet starvation of touch. Sometimes sex isn’t forbidden, it’s just forgotten.

A cold bed is the loudest silence in a marriage.
We have normalized emotional famine in the name of morality.

We have told women to endure and men to be patient and in doing so, we’ve made intimacy optional in marriage.

DESTINY HELPERS

Many times, we pray for destiny helpers and in our minds, we imagine someone walking into our lives one day with millions of naira or dollars, solving all our problems overnight. But is that really what destiny help is about? Or is that prayer, in itself, a selfish one?

I have seen people call me their destiny helper and I have given, over and over again. Money to start businesses, money to stabilize, money to rise again after failing. Yet, time and time again, they come back to the same spot, waiting for me to rescue them again. It made me realize that some people don’t want to multiply what they are given. They simply want to keep taking.

And here is where I struggle. does God truly design destiny help in such a way that one person should continually suffer so that another can enjoy? Is God so partial that He blesses one person only to make them a lifetime source for others who refuse to work with their own hands?

Recently, I even heard a lady took her brothers pictures to the church, praying that God would make him to always remember them so he can keep giving. But isn’t that another form of manipulation ? Because prayer without responsibility, prayer without effort, is simply entitlement dressed in spirituality.

True destiny help is not a parasitic relationship. It’s about alignment, opportunity, and lifting others who are ready to rise not draining one person dry while the other sits waiting for manna to fall from heaven.

💭 My question is this. Do you think the way many Nigerians pray for “destiny helpers” is faith, or is it disguised laziness and entitlement?
