NOTORIOUS FOR JESUS I HATE BATHROOMS.
I hate bathrooms. People find it strange when I say that but they don’t know why. but i had a terrible experience.
To me, it's not just a place to bathe, it’s where everything changed.
I was nine when it happened.
My big Aunt, Aunty Joke was visiting, cheerful as always, humming as she walked in to shower.
I remember hearing a loud thud, a sound that still echoes in my dreams.
My Mom and I rushed in to find her lying there, still, her head bleeding against the tub.
There was soap lather mixed with blood everywhere… and deafening silence. We quickly called ambulance, they took forever to arrive. That was it. She never woke up. Just like that, she was gone.
The doctors said she slipped and hit her head too hard. They declared her dead on arrival.
After that incident, I can never step into any bathroom without holding my breath.
Even now as an adult, I bathe quickly, and I'm always scared of falling or hearing another thud.
Tiles make me nervous. Lubricious floors tighten my chest. I avoid long showers, no music, no singing, no distractions. Just in and out.
People think it’s odd, and that I'm too dramatic.
But they didn’t see her that day. I did. And that’s why I hate bathrooms, that place took someone I loved.
Hmmm I HATE BATHROOMS too and this your post reopened old wounds oh.....Three years ago i fell in the bath tub... was bathing and my phone rang and i rushed to pick it...THAT WAS THE LAST THING I KNOW...... i saw myself hit the ceiling and both legs twisted completely back and front and i landed on the tiles but something held my head before it hit the toilet....The thud was so loud and i was on the floor for hours cos i was home alone...i couldn't remember my name or who i was...just laid there...
After hours, managed to go to my bed and lie down.........
Anyone who hears it are shocked cos eh, it must have been God on this day....My knee still hurts but i still thank God
When i am not hating bathrooms, i love it cos its my quiet place.....

FOR PEOPLE WITH ENTITLEMENT MENTALITY
FOR PEOPLE WITH ENTITLEMENT MENTALITY
Don’t think your rich friend must automatically invest in your business idea.
If they do, thank them as if they were a stranger who took a huge risk for you.
You see… money is not free just because it comes from someone you know.
They worked for it. They sacrificed for it. They lost sleep for it.
So, if they choose to put that money in your hands, that’s a privilege - not a right.
If you make them feel like they owe you, or you act entitled, you may never get their help again.
Why? Because human nature is simple - people give where they feel valued.
Gratitude attracts more giving. Entitlement dries up even the deepest pockets.

MUST READ
Don't teach them how to treat you.
Never teach your partner how to be your partner.
Never ask them to text you throughout the day to check on your mental health.
Never ask them to make a reservation at your favorite restaurant unannounced.
Never ask them to make you a warm bubble bath after you had a long day after work.
Never beg them to acknowledge your existence.
Find someone who has has always dreamt about having someone like you .... ever since they were a child.
Find someone that shows you how much you truly mean to them with every day that passes.
Find someone who not only says "I love you" but proves it to you with their actions.
Find someone who hurts other people's feelings to protect yours.
Find someone who supports your dreams and life goals.
Find someone who knows it's not about giving you the world, but to only make you a priority in theirs.
Find someone who chases you long after .... they already have you.
Find someone who traces the valleys and crevices of your body with their fingertips to remember every detail about you when they miss you.
Wait for this person because the longer you entertain what's not meant for you ..... the longer you postpone what is for you.

The most brutal birth in the animal kingdom!
Few stories in nature are as shocking as that of the spotted hyena, an animal whose birthing process is, literally, a biological nightmare. Females of this species are not only larger and more dominant than males, but they also possess a reproductive anatomy that is as unusual as it is dangerous.
Instead of a traditional v/\gina, these hyenas have a "pseudopenis," an elongated structure that looks like a penees, but is actually an extremely enlarged cleetoris. And yes, that's where they must give birth.
This passage is so narrow and long that it makes birth a life-threatening challenge. In fact, up to 60% of babies born during their first birth d!e, often from asphyxiation or because they become trapped. But it's not just the babies who are at risk: mothers can also suffer severe tears during the process.
Why does this happen? It's all linked to high testosterone levels in females, which not only gives them that unique organ, but also strength, aggression and absolute control over their matriarchal society.
Another example of how nature sometimes shows no mercy... but always leaves us speechless.

Oh Dear!!!...It actually hurt to read this cos human childbirth is also a miracle!

DeleteBuying land and planting cash crops such as ogbono, cashews, mangoes, oranges, and palm trees can be a profound investment in your financial future and your family's legacy. Here’s why this practice is important:
ReplyDeleteInvesting in land and agriculture provides a steady income stream. Cash crops not only appreciate in value over time but can also generate revenue through sales, creating a potential source of pension for life. This type of investment outlasts passing trends and gadgets, offering stability.
Real estate tends to appreciate in value, especially if developed properly. Over time, the land you acquire could significantly increase in worth, providing a substantial financial return on your initial investment. The growth of trees and crops adds not just crop value but also improves the property’s overall worth.
By planting cash crops, you create a lasting legacy for your family that transcends material possessions. Your efforts can result in a sustainable source of income for future generations, helping them build wealth and financial independence.
You don’t need to start big; even small plots of land can yield fruitful results over time. Prioritizing agricultural investments over luxury items, like the latest tech gadgets or expensive cars, can lead you towards greater financial stability.
Investing in agriculture not only benefits you economically but also contributes positively to community food security. Cash crops can help meet local demands and provide employment opportunities for others.
My people instead of spending on high-end items to impress others, consider investing in land and planting cash crops. It’s a move towards financial prudence, sustainable living, and creating a meaningful legacy for your family. Start today, no matter how small the investment, and reap the long-term benefits.
Good day people...✌️
That cashew and palm trees are good investments if one is patient.
DeleteThank for your advise sir 🙏 How are you & your beautiful family?

Do I hate bathrooms? Nope.
ReplyDeleteAm I terrified of bathroom accidents? Absolutely!
Aside from my mum’s place, I’ve only lived in three other apartments, and in each one, I made sure the bathroom tiles weren’t slippery. Falling in the bathroom is a nightmare I refuse to audition for.
I even wear rubber slippers EVERY SINGLE TIME I step in, even if it’s just to wash my hands.
Slippery bathroom tiles? Big, fat no-no for me.
Ron.
The best is to have a separate mob for the bathroom.. dry up immediately after use,
DeleteAdvisable to go into the only when the floor is dry up already
Very dangerous to fall in the bathroom. It has caused so many deaths.
DeleteGood afternoon,
ReplyDeleteI will make intestine and cow meat pepper soup with these ingredients -
Cow meat-3k
Intestine -3k
Pepper soup spice-uziza,control onion,uda,very little pepper,uyayak,onion,small ooo,scent leaf,lemon grass(all these will cost 4k)
Wash very well, add onions, seasoning and parboil, allow the water to come out, after that add water and allow to boil till.it softened, when it gets soft, add the spices, add little salt cos scent leaf is salty so you don't over salt, allow to boil and voila,it's ready, enjoy.
Weird fact 1 and 2 is so true,
Sign out is so typical of a chronic narcissist.
Stella please is this a giveaway challenge cos I don't want to join and people coming under my comment to call me scavenger.
ReplyDeleteBtw, I think you shouldn't allow bullying comment aim at those who receive giveaway here except you give for the purpose of dragging.

ReplyDeleteI love today's weird facts. The second one had my mouth agape in shock. Huh?!😳. Lol
The fourth weird fact is so true. Clustering words with songs makes us remember. E.g the elements of the periodic table, how to spell hippopotamus and river Mississippi 😄😄
Let's make light Ora/Oha soup.
Meat- 3,000
Ora/Oha leaves- 1,000
Ogili Igbo- 500
Crayfish - 2,000
Cocoyam - 1,000
Stockfish (head) - 2,000
Uziza seeds- 200
Palmoil- 500
Dry fish- 2,000
Seasoning cubes- 100
Preparation
- Bring your meat/stockfish to a boil.
- Introduce your already ground cocoyam
- Add your oil
- Add your ground crayfish and uziza seeds (with this you don't need pepper)
- Add your dry fish (Allow to cook for some few minutes)
- Add your already washed and shredded Ora/oha leaves
- Add your ogili Igbo
- Add more crayfish (remember we are adding more of this to infuse natural flavours since we won't be using "salt").
- Taste and adjust the thickness
Note: You can pop in one or two bullion cubes for those who can't do without that, but with enough crayfish, stock and dry fish, the soup comes out really tasty and nutritious.
Have a great day y'all✌🏻🥂

See ehn, let me state this here. If you follow a lot of things you hear everywhere, you will miss out on a lot. Like this whole drama about alumni and the old school association being... I don't know whether it's just the school some people come from. Me ex classmates were very good to me oh. Infact, they were very instrumental to my well-being to an extent, if I can say that.
ReplyDeleteI can remember when I started this Jumia JForce business thing. And I was a bit shy to mention it because you're basically begging people to buy through you. So when they want to order something, they should order through you. So you can get commission based on what they are buying, Instead of going to the market to shop for themselves.
But the moment I dropped this on the WhatsApp group, Jesus Christ. They all came buying. Even those that don’t buy things online will ask me to make an order for them just so that I could get commission from them. These people really helped. I think for the first few months when I started, they were the ones that actually made me to be able to keep the work going.
They didn’t even stop there but would recommend me to their colleagues and external friends.
When we hang out, those doing well would either give u a ride home or for those of us that lived farther off, they’d get an uber for us.
I remember one time I celebrated my birthday by calling a few friends to come and eat fish with me somewhere in Ikeja. I had my money to pay, but 2 of those my ex classmates cleared the bill.
I will never not rate old school mates because of my personal experience with them.
Sha don’t go and miss ur destiny helpers because of what people have been saying.
Honestly Eka, you are just lucky to belong to a class set that is geared at pro unitate.
DeleteMost class reunions are for show offs.
This stance is not even born out of personal perception but I've seen it play out in old school association groups of few friends and close relations.
But that doesn't erase the fact that there are good ones out there that foster unity and progress of its members.
Eka you're so right. A closed mouth is a closed destiny.
DeleteSpeak out 😁
Thank you!!!

I am especially grateful for the ₦50,000 blessing that came through for Pinky yesterday. May God abundantly bless the Doctor who made it possible.
ReplyDeleteDoctor, it wasn’t education alone that delivered you and your siblings from abject poverty in Ajegunle, it was God. He ordained this knowing that one day you would extend the same blessing to others. Hallelujah!
Congratulations, Pinky. May greater grace and favor continue to follow you. I also want to encourage every "Pinky" out there, keep pushing forward. Your efforts and struggles will not go unnoticed, and your reward will surely come.
To the trolls, I hope this teaches a valuable lesson: there is great value in decency, both online and offline.
Finally, I must commend the woman whose platform became an instrument in God’s hands to make this miracle possible. God bless you richly, SDK. Long live SDK Blog!

Okporoko (stock fish)-2000
Locust/ogiri-500
Onions-500
Palm oil-1000
Maggie-200
Garden eggs leaves and ugwu-500
Method:
Mix your blended egusi with room temperature water water and blended onions and set aside
Blend your pepper, tatashe and onions
Thoroughly wash your meat and bring to boil with onions, garlic and seasoning
Soak your stock fish okporoko with hot water
Now, place your pot on medium heat and add your oil. Once the palm oil is a lil bit hot, then add your egusi mixture and continue stirring so as not to get burn and form some mold
Once you notice the egusi has formed some kinda mold, it's time to add your pepper mix, followed by locust beans or ogiri. After that, it's your maggie.
Let it cook for a while without turning, then add your meat stock, your stock fish and meat
Cover and let it cook for another 10 minutes and add your washed garden eggs leaf and ugwu, let it cook for 3 minutes max and stir. I love my vegetables crunchy that's why I don't like it to pass 3 minutes. Now your egusi soup is ready, feel free to pair it with any swallow of your choice, though I prefer eba or semo with it
