IPOB warned that Nigeria will see the kind of crisis it has never seen before if Kanu’s health worsens further and he’s not attended to in custody.

Emma Powerful, the spokesman of IPOB, informed the Nigerian government that Kanu is “priceless,” hence his health must be properly attended to.
A statement by Powerful reads partly: “Let it be clearly understood: Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is priceless, and no amount of blackmail, judicial rascality, or DSS-induced health crisis will be tolerated.
“Nigeria is toying with a catastrophe that could engulf not only its borders but the entire region. History teaches bitter lessons. When Serbian nationalists assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo in 1914, they thought there would be no consequences. The result was the First World War, which consumed over 10 million lives.
“We are warning Tinubu’s regime, the DSS, and their international collaborators: Mazi Nnamdi Kanu must be released unconditionally and without further delay. His health and safety are non-negotiable.
“A worsening of his medical condition will ignite a crisis the likes of which Nigeria and its foreign backers have never imagined.
“We call on all peace-loving people across the world, international bodies, and human rights organizations to prevail upon the Nigerian government to do the right thing before it is too late.
“The games being played with the life of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu are reckless, provocative, and unsustainable. Nigeria is sitting on a keg of gunpowder, and IPOB will not be held responsible for what happens if this provocation continues.”
From dailypost
Always threatening, crazy people!....After imploding in the Eastern part of Naija, they want to scatter main Naija...Mad people!......I am yet to get over how they scattered the East and left villages scattered and empty....
Good morning. Kami’s birthday is tomorrow too. I guess this is their version of sending him birthday wishes.
ReplyDeleteIt is well.God's healing.
ReplyDeleteYou called Nnamdi Kanu a terrorist and you locked him up even after the court discharged and acquitted him of all the frivolous charges. Then you turned around begging the terrorist in the north for a peace deal. You can't even dare arrest them when they attended meeting with guns and magazines on their neck.
ReplyDeleteWhere's this justice here???
You handle the north with kid gloves but go hard on the East. Wasn't this the reason for the agitations in the first place?
Few days ago, a northern terrorist threatened of mayhem if any of their member go down and up till now, no response from the President or NIA. Should that threat be anywhere and not the north, you all know what would have happen by now.
These are the problems- Selective justice. It will engulf Nigeria soon.
Nigeria indeed have an Igbo problem. I couldn't have agree less with Chinua Achebe.
All I'll say is that, Nigeria will end up blowing itself up if not being careful.

Look at what u r saying?
DeleteThe East burning because of this man and you are here saying selective justice,
Stella, hear yourself too.
DeleteIs the North not burning as well?
Once it has to do with Igbos and the East, everyone brings their fangs out!
Thank God I've removed myself and my loved ones from that zoo...
Stella,
DeleteYou're not on ground in Nigeria to know exactly what's going on in the South East. The happenings there are political. Why was it that immediately Gentle the Yahoo started mentioning politicians and a governor sponsoring him, he was either abducted or killed?
I dislike violence approach to things but truth be told. Why keeping him over five years without medical attention? If he's guilty shouldn't the prison be his place of stay?
Let's tell ourselves the truth here. How many terrorist in the north have been arrested and prosecuted like this? Even Sokoto Kabiru, Wadume and co where all freed by Buhari without a trial. Is that what Nigeria represent?
I hate injustice and would never support it. Is it not someone heathy that can stand trial? So why are they denying him medical his fundamental right?
Isn't ten years enough to jail someone you claimed is a terrorist? Why the rigmarole and delay tactics?
My people are in the East and I visit the East. The people terrorizing the East know their sponsors. If IPOB is a terrorist group, why are they being welcomed overseas and granted asylum? Or you think the world don't know what's happening in Nigeria. Let any terrorist in the north go and seek asylum in Europe or America and let's see its outcome.
IPOB can't be a terrorist and have visible office with addresses in Germany, Spain, Italy, America, India etc. Or is the world now welcoming and accommodating terrorist?

TJ, I always wonder why you live and work (sorry, do business, that is if it exists) in the peaceful PH that Wike and others have maintained. If you believe so much in NK and Ipob struggles, you should have relocated fully to the SE. Why are you hiding in PH? Nonsense - you stay behind your phone and be making incoherent and meaningless comments daily.
DeleteThe people wasted by the drug addled thugs he armed are not ill, they are dead.
ReplyDeleteThe ones who are not dead are impoverished, displaced and traumatized die to the terror he unleashed on them.
His backers should rejoice that he is able to sit in a government home 7 days a week after keeping them home for just 1 day.
He should be made to pay fully for his crimes since he has refused to admit and apologise.
Yul's mate, claiming he was bluffing and bragging when trying to spread his fatal foolishness to other states.
This una threats na just noise as usual is there any crisis that will be bigger than the civil war, very soon you this small boy( powerful) go join am go rest too.
ReplyDeleteGo ask why your elders no dey put mouth much on this matter e get why
Sir Ugama,
DeleteYou're right in your last sentence. The WHY is that, they're all political stooges and puppets. But rest assured, they'll cry the same way Orji Uzor Kalu cried in the full glare of the world in a live broadcast.

TJ, will you stop making senseless comments on this NK/IPOB issue? Why are you living in PH and not in any of the SE States?
DeleteNothing will happen, it's just a mere threat, and if something will happen, maybe in their region.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I have problem with is how they're treating Namdi Kanu with iron hands and they're treating terrorists from the other region with gloves hands, let all of them be treated equally, let there be capital punishment for all of them, nothing like repentant terrorists and accepting them back to the society.
The issue for me is how we are suddenly being told that Nnamdi Kanu is a peaceful man, they make it sound like he was just going around peacefully when he was arrested.
ReplyDeletei can't forget the hateful messages he used to preach against Hausas, Yoruba's and other tribes, how is that related to your fight for freedom.
Didn't we all listen to his hateful broadcast during endsars when he was urging his warriors to destroy significant buildings in Lagos, he was mentioning the buildings, his warriors were calling in to report how many policemen and DPOs they had killed.
He kept repeating on his radio program that any igbo person who attends a church pastored by Adeboye or any Yoruba pastor must have their heads examined.
And for those comparing him with northern terrorists, are you really saying the northern terrorists are your new standard of what the Southeast should be like?
Anytime they arrest or kill a terrorist in that region, you guys seem to be unhappy, now someone is telling us here that Gentle the yahoo was arrested because he was mentioning names - which means you are not happy he was arrested even as he was kpaing your people.
Make it make sense biko
Thank you. Those supporting him are simply bigoted and allergic to truth.
DeleteNK has a disciple on this blog - TeeJay and some of his IPOB Sisters! He lives in a peaceful PH but supports his Lord and Saviour, Nnamdi Kanu and his terrorist gang, to destroy his homeland, the SE. To TeeJay, common sense doesn't exist
