NOTORIOUS FOR JESUS
Claustrophobia Is Real

I never thought claustrophobia was real.
To me, it was just one of those things people exaggerated to gain sympathy. But life has a way of humbling us.

When my husband and I went broke, we had to leave our spacious apartment.
We moved into a tiny room and parlor that felt more like a cage than a home. The space was so small, it swallowed the air. Worse still, the both rooms had just two tiny windows.
Every daylight would literally feel like night, dark and suffocating. Our luggage was stacked high like a mountain in a corner of the room.

There was barely space to breathe, let alone live.
Before I knew it, I found myself snapping at my kids constantly. At night, I would shake my husband awake in panic, sometimes crying telling him I will die here if we don’t move.
I begged him to find money, any money, to rescue us. Chai!
Our morning prayers became desperate cries for relocation.

"Dear God, All I'm asking you is a space, light, and air." For three months, that was my only request. And then, miraculously, a new door opened. We found a bigger place, brighter, freer, liveable. Now I know, Claustrophobia is no illusion.
It is real, and I will never joke about it or laugh at claustrophobics again.

I love any kind of space whether small or big as long as i can do me time there.....Never heard of this claustro-gini before

Lover Girl's Narrative: Diary of an Unwritten Implosion (final part)

Guess what! Wedding bells!!!
Amidst all the red, black, and amber flags, we set the wedding plans in motion.
I was still hacked in and knew he was still having random "cherry" appointments, but I stayed.

His friends, especially the last mediator, always left me with subtle hints to abort the mission, but my head was in the cloud of delusion and denial.

Deep down, I was not happy, but the thought that I was in too deep to back out and the disappointment I would put my family through kept fuelling this passion. Everything was set for the engagement, and then we were hit with the biggest blow ever.

His father passed.

It was at that point that I realized the relationship was well over. His father was the only person who could call him to order. Imagine a rabid dog without chains. That was to be his fate because his father were those chains. I travelled to pay my last respects, and deep down, I knew that was it.

True to my thoughts, barely a year after, unprovoked, after being out of reach for a while, I kept probing to know why he would go cold on me, and he broke up with me via text: "Let me be."

I was not surprised; I was not hurt, because I had a heart ready to detach. Healing, however, was not easy. The guilt of staying put in this kind of situationship ate me up badly. Some days, I would wake up feeling better, and some days, I would wake up feeling bitter. I became an untamed mental case.

Nobody knew about my struggles, not even my family. I told my parents about the breakup and lied about being at peace with it. But I literally would dose off crying every night and wake up likewise.

The weight of my ignorance, naivety, foolishness, and subservience did me dirty. The good thing is that I'm now in a better place mentally. I have no regrets, but a diary full of lessons and experiences. I take solace in the fact that what was meant to break me only made me better.
A pain I wore for 15 years healed in a year, and I'm grateful for that.

Sisters, I speak to you with hindsight borne of fire. Do not ignore the signs. No matter how deep you think you are, no matter the investments: emotional, familial, societal, etc recognize toxicity for what it is.

I stayed blinded for 15 years, numbing my pain, ignoring red flags that screamed loud for the deaf to hear and the blind to see. Don't let patterns of hurt trap you; your worth isn’t tied to someone else’s brokenness.

Break free before the cost eats you alive. Trust your intuition; honor your boundaries. What didn’t break me made me stronger, but countless others aren’t as fortunate. Don’t gamble with your peace. Learn from my journey.

Awareness is power, and self-love is liberation.
I’m gad you stayed with me.

15 years ended in a wrecking ball????? JUST LIKE THAT????WOW!!!...I pray that you find love again cos this kind of experience can change the taste of love.

DETTY DECEMBER ALERT

Some Nigerians living abroad return home for Detty December and spend a considerable amount of money using their cards.

However, after travelling back overseas, some of them contact their banks to request reversals of those payments, falsely claiming they were defrauded or unaware of how the money left their accounts.

Because many banks already hold negative perceptions about Nigeria in connection with fraud, they rarely investigate these claims thoroughly before approving the reversals. As a result, the Nigerian businesses and service providers that received the payments are forced into financial losses.

I read about this a few weeks ago but dismissed it at the time because the content creator who shared it did not seem credible.

This morning, though, I was alarmed to watch a Nigerian podcaster based abroad discussing the same issue and people in the comments were warning her not to “cast updates”!
Ah, so this really happens!
Copied

This is true?...If they come this December and ask to use cards of any kind , please insist on cash payment to be on the safe side oh

First weird fact is absolutely true. I fell out with a friend some time ago and then after some times we randomly see each other. She reached out for a hug and how I hugged her tightly shows how much I've missed her🥺🥺. I was surprised too when I released myself from the grip. It further showed me that even in that grudge I held I still love her dearly.

  14. Is cowbell healthy for a baby dats not up to a month?
I went to visit a lady (she is like a friend)dat just put to birth some weeks ago..Her baby was seriously crying and she said her breast has refused to produce much milk so she had to rush out to get cowbell milk ..

When she came back with d milk..I thought she wanted to use it for herself but she put it in d baby bottle and added warm water and gave d baby..d baby drank small and started crying again..

She said they have bought 4tins of Nan since she born and her hubby can't afford it again so they decided to be buying cowbell..I Sha advised her to make pap by herself instead and feed d boy instead of cowbell cos I feel d boy is still very young to take it..

People are really going through a lot 😢

    Good afternoon everyone 🥰😍

    1. You really tried to advise her. But honestly, Cowbell isn’t safe for a newborn at all. Their system can’t handle it , it can cause serious tummy issues and dehydration.

If breast milk isn’t flowing, she should keep latching often, drink plenty water, and rest. And if it’s not coming at all, infant formula is still the safest option. Things are hard, but baby’s health comes first.
God will continue to strengthen all mothers going through it.

    2. Pap o
      Cowbell milk o
They are both not suitable for the one month old.
Before having a baby nowadays, one should calculate well... Include money for baby food in your calculations incase something happens to breast milk.

    3. Hey God! Cowbell milk for an infant?
Please next time you visit her kindly advise her to go for family planning.

    4. Exactly, you know things are hard, you open toto just to suffer a baby! I pray God comes through for u and your family.

    5. The baby will not get any nutrient from cowbell milk.

  33. Claustrophobia is hell.
I never had it all the while till i travelled to Lagos last year. It was an official trip and as funds were not available, we were told to use from our pockets first. My boss told his SA to give me "to and fro" flight money. I entered bus o. My greatest regret. The bus was very tight cos passengers had so many loads. My seat was last at the back and by the window. Whenever we entered any gallop, the bag and the back will fall on my shoulders. I will push it back. The supposed AC was not ACing. Then SA chatted me to tell me we lost a colleague and that was when my heart stopped beating. My bra became tight, no air was entering my lungs, I started sweating and could not longer breathe. I tried to open the window and it could not, I felt caged. They had to stop the car when I stood up and started hitting the roof of the car. I felt if I didnt get out, I could faint. They stopped for me and I poured water on my head and took in some air. The driver also open the window by my side.

As the journey progressed, I noticed i developed a kind of anxiety that if I decide to shut the window of the car, I will feel locked up and begin to panic and if I decide to open the window, I will start panicking from the noise from the moving vehicles. Wahala. I got to Lagos and decided to stay at a hotel around Jibowu, simply because I planned to go to Idumota to shop. I ended up staying in an hotel that was not airy. The only window in the room opened to the passage that was also not airy. I stayed for 5 days and on the day I was to return to Abuja, I woke up around 2am, gasping. It was like I didnt have a nose. Like I needed more nostrils to be able to draw in air. I ran downstairs. My friend was with me. I was crying, saying I cant breathe, I cant breathe... He thought I was losing it. If he tried to hold me, I will run. Hotel gave me hot water but it didnt help. Downstairs the hotel, I will be ok, but tell me to return to my room, it was a problem. I had to return to Abuja. I managed to have a bath and went to the park. I bought all the menthol sweets I could find around and boarded the bus. It was a terrible journey but God helped me. Whenever I felt that panic, I will pop the sweet into my mouth and the menthol will kind of help. It continued when i got to Abuja and I would always wake up midnights, crying and unable to sleep, afraid of my own house. Hospital visits nko. They gave me sleeping drugs but I was scared to take them and i was not sleeping. I wont sleep at night and will pump myself with coffee to stay awake in the office. It was when the left part of my brain started eating up that I was forced to take my sleeping drugs. I will be fine outside oo but the moment I enter my house and shut the door, I will start feeling caged. Haba mana.

Then it was time to travel. Oh Lord, how will I survive being locked up in the air and not able to tell the pilot to stop. Abi I should lie that I am sick so that I wont travel ni? What if they say I should return the money. My doctor gave me drugs and told me they have doctors on the plane that attend to emergencies. That one gave me little relief. I also had to pack plenty tomtom to help with the panic.

I am getting over it sha, but I still cant pour water on my head in a locked bathroom. The door must be opened.

    Welcome IHNs.

  37. About the debit/credit card issue,yea it's true,that's why "Cash" remains king..

Dear Entrepreneurs,If the abroad customers insist on card payment, let them use third party apps like Le*fi and TapTap*end to link their cards, then make the transfer to your business account, this process can't be reversed because of the authentications before money can be sent.

Don't accept the card directly on your POS,it's either CASH or Transfer.

    Hope this helps.

  39. You are a woman without limits.

Don’t let your past, your mistakes, or what people said about you become the definition of who you are.

You’ve been through things that should’ve broken you — yet here you are, still standing, still growing, still shining. ✨
That’s not weakness, sis. That’s strength wrapped in grace.

Stop disqualifying yourself because of where you’ve been.
God doesn’t call the perfect; He perfects the called.
And if you’re still here, breathing, reading this — it means He’s not done with you yet. 💛

Your past may explain you, but it doesn’t define you.
You are not your failure. You are not your heartbreak. You are not your delay.
You are the woman God looked at and said, “I can still use her.”

So lift your head, queen. 👑
Walk like you know heaven backs you because it does.
Speak like you carry destiny in your mouth.
Love yourself enough to become everything God saw when He made you.

Because you’re not just a woman — you’re God’s idea expressed in flesh.
A carrier of purpose, power, and endless possibilities. 🌸

You are a woman without limit. Don’t let your past convince you otherwise.

    You are limitless.✨

    For appetizers.
    1. Crusty Spanish toast
Buy a soft soft sliced white bread 🍞
10 slices out of it.(Slash off edges)
    3 boiled eggs(Remove yolks. Dice)
    1 Reddish tomato 🍅 (Dice)
    4 tablespoons of mayonnaise.
    2 tablespoons of white vinegar
5 lettuce 🥬 leaves (strip long not slice)
2 teaspoons of honey or lemon juice if you don't like sugary snacks.
    1 🫑 pepper(Remove seeds. Dice)

Wear hand gloves. Mix all of mayonnaise, vinegar, lemon juice and or honey in a bowl.
On a flat surface. Drop and spread a little scoop. Place a slice of bread on it, move it up and down to soak the mix.
Press it to become thin and extra slim.
Spread another scoop on second face, spread it to soak well.
Then add, egg, mayonnaise and honey mix, tomatoes. One 🥬 slice per toast.
Roll it to make a sausage and stick 2 toothpicks at both ends on the body not open head. It won't burst.
    REPEAT FOR THE 10 SLICES.

    Prime oven for 3 minutes.
Bake it for 5 minutes and remove to cool.
DO NOT OPEN WHILE PIPING HOT. IT WILL SPILL CONTENT. Serve with a chocolate drink or pineapple 🍍 juice.
    😋🥰🥳

And put chewing gum in your mouth while baking so you don't finish it, the aroma is oh la la.😉😂

    Sign out...not complete.
How you treat humans "lower than you" in many spheres.
    Matters a lot☺️📌
I use it to judge personality.
When I visit your home, I read your "security man and house keeper" like a thermometer.
They have all the answers 🤭👌

Detty December... Aarrgghh. Dem do my outlet. Dem do me.
Many homes, correct mansions, even heavy duty utility jeeps and sedan cars cleaned to sparkling insanity, they enjoyed the cozy homes, drove down to hinterland, paid bill in a crooked means.
Some onye obodo bu ndi ori. Oh Chim o. Shebi the homes are overtaken by grasses and dust? Oya na.
That hotel at Bishop Aboyade C Street, if I remember the figures they lost, I swallow spit.
Oriegwu really. This year eh, na shutdown before they arrive. Let my staff travel from 1st December. Will tell them when to open.
