WHAT IS THIS?

In July, I was on one of the Facebook group I often visit when I saw a post about a Tourist Guide vacancy. The poster prefers to be contacted inbox. Without further ado, I swung into action and DMed.

He is an Indian and claims two of his cousins are visiting Nigeria to pursue careers as models, they needed a tourist guide, who would also double as a Big sister. He asked how much I would charge and that he wants to introduce me to the cousins.

He sent me a Telegram link and I followed. BIG MISTAKE!
There was no cousin, the story was a hoax. They were perhaps, three guys in the room and they lured me there to sxxx chat. I didn't realize I have been trapped until I asked to see his face.

A dirty uxly Indian guy stroking a small dxxck with his hands appeared on the video call. Gosh! I was super appalled. I wanted to cuss out but I realized it was of no use. I simply asked him if this is the reasons he asked me here and I dropped the call. Since then I had a terrible phobia for Telegram.

Two days later, a lady who had seen my comment on the post messaged me and asked if they were legit because whoever that was behind the keypad messaged her and asked to see her privates.

Hahahahahahahahahahahhahah messaged her to see her privates and she is still asking if they are legit? legit what????
maybe she think say you be oloso like her...

 INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD 

As someone who is passionate about advocating for access to better educational programs, health care and better living conditions for children or people with special needs, who is also passionate about Christ and evangelism, I have noticed that most churches do not run their services in a way that someone with special needs can feel included.

For example, a lot of churches have interpreters or hold services where the sermon is also interpreted in indigenous languages, but I have never seen a church that has an ASL ( American Sign Language Interpreter). It's bad enough that society isn’t putting in the best effort in making things easier for people with disabilities but the church can do better.

Not just the church, we can do better as people, I have seen people stop their kids from playing with other disabled children, treating such children like they have a contagious disease. It is hard enough on the parents of children with special needs, the stress, the pain, the medical challenges that comes with the disabilities, the financial strain and the stigma from the society and all other things . 

The least we can do is to be kind and empathetic.

Help if you can and if you can’t keep any unsolicited advice to yourself. If you are a parent with a special needs child, hugs to you, you are a champion, and you are strong. Keep advocating for your champions. Please don’t give up on them. May you always find all the help you need in Jesus' name.

My friends elder brother in the UK has a special needs child that repaints the house with faeces everytime he is left alone at home for a few minutes.....he is already adult approaching 30 ......The details i heard made me really really sad..he refuses to go out cos of how people look at him......

Shout out all parents with special needs children.

WHEN A RELATIONSHIP ENDS

I know it hurts.

It’s a very strange feeling how someone can be in your life for months or even years and then one day ... all of a sudden not be there anymore.

Maybe the relationship ended on good terms.... or maybe it was completely catastrophic.
Either way .... it’s so bizarre how relationships can change so vast and rapidly.

And you know what .... you may not be at peace with what happened between the two of you ... and thats perfectly fine.

Sometimes the end of a relationship can literally be one of the hardest things we go through in life.

I want you to know it’s okay that your heart still hurts because of what happened.
You have made alot of memories with this person.
And these memories that you have made is something you can’t erase no matter how hard you try.

Whether you like it or not, they are a part of your story.

I know looking on these memories can be hard, and you may wish you could forget them.
But instead of forgetting, maybe we should try to focus on what came from the relationship.

You two joined paths for a particular reason.
Maybe you walked through some of the hardest times together.
Maybe you understood each other in a way no one else ever did.
Maybe you encouraged one another to be strong or to embrace who you genuinely were as a person.
Or maybe your relationship with them opened your eyes to what you truly needed in your life.

Regardless of what the reasoning was, it’s okay to acknowledge that .... that person meant a lot to you.
And it's okay if they still do.
It’s also okay that they aren’t in your life anymore.

What alot of people dont understand is, not every relationship we encounter will last a lifetime.

You shouldn't be lingering in the past questioning why everything happened the way it did.
What you need to do .... is to take what you've learned from that relationship and move forward in your life.
Knowing there are other relationships that will give you exactly what you've always dreamed of and more.

I need you to know that you're not going to feel this way forever.

You will continue to move forward and you will continue to grow with everyday that passes.
Take my advice and remember ....

Sometimes the people you wanted as part of your story, are only meant to be a chapter.
