See broken promises and exploitation. You would think someone who is going to have their organ taken would be treated well, allowed to rest and just be stress free for an upcoming big operation, nope work them like a field hand and treat them like shyt. 15:13, you can function well but your life changes dramatically. Not even ten million naira is worth it. But I understand desperation and wanting to be out of an ugly existence. The real value of a kidney on the open market before Covid was $250,000 - $300,000 US. It may be higher now with inflation and cost of living. That converts to 363 - 435 million naira. So these young ppl being roped into selling their organs for dirt cheap, an iPhone, or a plane ride don’t even know the value of what they are giving away.

If you’re donating out of love, make sure the person is worth it and you will never regret it, because many stories are out here about organ donation woes and they ain’t pretty.
