In two separate letters to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, President Tinubu asked the Senate to consider and confirm expeditiously 15 nominees as career ambassadors and 17 nominees as non-career ambassadors.
There are four women on the career ambassadors' list and six women on the non-career ambassadors' list.

-Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri (Delta)
-Former chairman of INEC Mahmud Yakubu
-Former Ekiti first lady, Erelu Angela Adebayo
-Former Enugu governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
- Former Speaker Katsina state house of Assembly Tasiu Musa Maigari :
-Former Plateau State Commissioner Yakubu N. Gambo
and former deputy executive secretary of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC)
-Former Plateau state Senator Professor Nora Ladi Daduut
-Former deputy governor of Lagos State Otunba Femi Pedro
-Former aviation minister from Osun State Chief Femi Fani Kayode
-Barrister Nkechi Linda Ufochukwu from Anambra State .
-Former First Lady of Oyo, Fatima Florence Ajimobi
-Former Lagos Commissioner, Lola Akande
-Former Adamawa Senator, Grace Bent

ReplyDeleteNow we are talking 😂😂😂 . The real settlement list. Please let no one come with "in saner climes" argument. In those climes, nearly the entire list is for settlement as their civil servants and spies do the work of diplomatic channels while ambassadors continue with dinners and parties - as expected from a good party donor or fund raiser. You have to be dangerously daft not to clear screening and it doesn't stop you from being screened again or getting other compensations. Check lists from as far back as Carter.

Gburugburu repping for Enugu. Ikpeazu fronting for Abia. Will PDP expel these ones too? All those launching and stadium visits no waste and Mbah will be more comfortable though I don't think he is being choked. Wike's performance really opened doors for his friends. He has always had a Liverpool approach to politics and even the NDDC and other key posts were secured with some of his influence . I hope he perfoms well still and avoids drama.
It was kind adding Mrs Ajimobi but this distances her from local politics in Oyo at a sensitive time. Adelabu is strong though and her heart may no longer be deeply in it. . She has been through so much and the change of scenery for service will be beneficial.
Please post FFK to where wife drama won't make international news o. The issue of custody comes to the surface since he'll have to change base and his ego will not allow him to share- I don't know if you need the other parent's permission to change base in the case of joint custody. Is Snow white safe in a place where he'll have presidential diplomatic immunity and be running the embassy as a quasi- president?
That Femi Pedro can not just be part of Lagos GAC but now nominated as ambassador, I'm impressed by Tinubu's approach to leadership on this one. Politics is fight to finish. After that, go for the best hands. They made up so famously and have been together for years after their falling out. I'll wait for his country of assignment but Pedro has brains to make good things happen.
