Actress Lizzy Gold Onuwaje Warns Netizens Pressuring Her to Get Married

Actress Lizzy Gold sent a message to people who always tell her to get married, saying she will not be pressured to go and marry “a dustbin” or men who do not have their lives together, and that she is happy with her two kids. She added that in God’s time she will get a husband....



She said:

‎"In a few days I would be attending a colleagues wedding and I know some people will come on my page and write "mama when is it going to be your turn, mama when are you getting married?" it's not going to be my turn anytime soon.

‎I am not getting married anytime soon, I am not even thinking about it, it's not in my thoughts so you understand? I have two kids, infact I am married to my kids. Nobody should pressure me ooooo that's how you people will pressure me. You want me to go and marry dustbin, all these men wey no dey get their selves.

‎I will take my time and marry my own husband, God said in his own time he will give me my own man so nobody should pressure me I am waiting on God. Per adventure there is no man, it's not a sin to remain single. You can be single and make heaven, as far you don't sin against your body. Your body is the temple of the Lord. After all, heaven is the goal.

‎Before any of you would come and write "mama you are not getting younger" I am not complaining, my younger sister have been married for ten years and I was never pressured to get married because she got married so you can't pressure me nobody can pressure me.

‎Leave me alone weda I marry or not e nor concern anybody, marriage is not in my dictionary there's no man in sight, I don't have a man I am happily single.''
