AFCON 2025 - Egypt Defeats Zimbabwe 2-1

On Monday December 22, 2025 Egypt secured a 2-1 victory over Zimbabwe. 
The game saw Zimbabwe take the lead with Prince Dube scoring in the 20th minute. Egypt fought back, with Omar Marmoush of Man City leveling the score in the 64th minute. 
The drama peaked when Mohamed Salah of Liverpool scored the winning goal in the 90+1st minute, sealing a dramatic comeback 2-1 win for Egypt.

    I was rooting for Zim to win.
    They play very well, especially the defenders and there goalkeeper.
