The cleric took to Facebook to claim that online prayers are the most "useless" kind of prayers and they achieve nothing.

He wrote: "All those prayers you join online every morning and evening to shout and kill demons are the most useless forms of prayers.
"The only good thing about them is that they exercise your jaws, and as you shake your legs, hands, and head, it is a form of aerobic exercise."
He added: "Those shoutings every morning and evening are not even supposed to be called prayers. They only strengthen your relationship with your imaginary demons, not your relationship with God. True prayer is a relationship with God, and there is nowhere in scripture where God even gives a clue that we should relate with Him in that manner. I repeat: such prayers are USELESS.
"Those ministers you join every morning or evening are making content and cashing out. Na business dem dey do. They open shop or stage every morning and evening, then invite you to patronize them after convincing you that they have the solution to a problem they first created in your head.
"They 'kill demons' and declare how their enemies monitoring them will die, yet they still move around with security men carrying guns, inside bulletproof cars. If that one no prove to you the uselessness of their shouting, nothing else will.
"To be clear, you can remain in your foolishness, no wahala. But don’t say you were not told."

Oh wow. I thought God is everywhere. Why do men with their limited knowledge like to talked down on others mode of prayers. The bottom line is that these prayers are answered and that's all that matters.
ReplyDeleteThey post account numbers and you guys make donations?. continue
DeleteGolden. Thank you
DeleteFirst of you don't join the prayers so how do you know the prayers are useless?
ReplyDeleteParticipating in commanding the day midnight prayer with Dunamis has been one of my highlights. Many testimonies, I don't have the time to share.
Pls take one night and listen to the testimonies so you would know it's working.
This is pure envy and jealousy. If not God is not complaining, and He is answering prayers but you are there beefing what you don't know.
Pls.. excuse me.
Commanding the day midnight prayer saved my life. Our doors opened when PST Paul called my husband's name, described our situation perfectly then declared a turn around. I kid you not, the same business he was into for the past 5years which yielded noting, just within few weeks of that declaration our financial life changed. Forever. We are not poor anymore we are perfectly rich right now. So you see online prayers, I no dey joke with am. Even nsppd I dey join and got healed of heart palpitation.
DeleteWell said. God is everywhere

ReplyDeleteThe ways of God are mysterious, hence we should never conclude.
Really!
ReplyDeleteWhy criticizing and making light of other people's prayers pattern? Allow them be. Who ever that is willing to pray should be allowed to however he pleases.
ReplyDeleteMay God forgive you, Padre. This is one of the so many reasons others don't take Christians serious. Imagine???

Online prayer is very useful to me especially the just concluded hallelujah challenge
ReplyDeleteI don’t understand why some of these clergymen always try to bring others down. If it’s useless to you, it’s useful to some of us. I can’t even remember the last time I attended a physical fellowship.
