Villagers Unalife Two Suspected Bandits And Recover Stolen Livestock

Villagers in Maikujera and Gidan Boy communities of Sokoto State confronted a group of bandits on Friday, killing two of them and recovering stolen livestock.

The gunmen had earlier rustled cattle from Kabunga village in Kware Local Government Area and were moving toward Bakura town in Zamfara State when the villagers intercepted them.
According to the report, brave youths from the two communities engaged the bandits in what was described as a “fierce gun battle,” managing to recover cattle, rams and camels. Some of the bandits were killed, while others escaped with gunshot wounds.

The recovered animals were handed over to the Chairman of Rabah Local Government Area for checks and eventual return to their owners in Kabunga.

  9. This is the happiest news I've read this year so far, the bandits and kidnappers have audacity because people don't face them, if people start retaliating, they will think twice before they do rubbish again.
The villagers should not relax, they should always be on alert, because I know they will want to come back.
