Boxer Anthony Joshua Pays Emotional Tribute To His Friends Who Died In Car Crash

International Boxer Anthony Joshua has spoken up publicly,paying tribute to his close friends Sina Ghami and Latif 'Latz' Ayodele, who lost their lives in a tragic collision while on a visit to Nigeria, visiting family.

In a video posted on his Instagram page, he acknowledged that he has been through a traumatic time.

He also thanked fans around the world for their support as he opened up in the scale of his loss.

In his words;
"The last time I spoke to you guys was in Miami , we had so many plans to wrap up 2025 and we were on a mission
We went back home to see our families and everything just got flipped upside on its head
God is the best planner, we can plan to the best of our ability but that was such an unforeseen circumstance that was out if our control

Not only did their parents, their uncles, cousins , friends, I myself lose two great men, men that we care about , that have been major players in our lives
It's really tough, am not gonna stay here and show all my emotions

I know in this day and age, people like to seat and micro-analyse people and pass judgement but I know where am from
I know what my journey is, they are my brothers ,they are my friends first and foremost , then we became business partners, we became lieutenants, we became generals, we became housemates, we were living together
So yeah, it's a shame, that's how it's been

But what can I say, one day my time will come and am not scared either at all, it's actually comforting knowing I've got two brothers on the other side
I've lost people before but I don't think I've lost people like that ...at my left and my right...
It's not been easy, I've been the big guy but I was walking with giants that kept me protected, kept me shielded
But the mission must go on , I understand my dream, I understand what they wanted to do for their families, I understand life so my goal is to help them continue to achieve their goals.

Even though they might not be in the physical world, when I pray in the morning, when I pray at night, I always pray Sina and Ghami are gonna aid me through cause it's not just physical strength that would aid me through, it's gonna take a lot of strength from the high power so am gonna put them inside my prayers,

Am gonna help them fulfill their dreams to their families
Not only me, there's a whole team of us, a whole brothers and sisters that would help me fulfill their legacies and dreams.
In my corner of the world, I know what am gonna be doing, it ain't about legacy, it's just doing what's right and am gonna do what's right by them and their family
It's about what's important to me , very important team and friends

All appreciation is acknowledged by me, by them, by their families
I acknowledge the trillions of people around the world that showed their love to them both
I still can't get my head around, just my two friends,just how popular they are, we just grew up together....
Cause I've known them as my friends and they've built such strong character over the years, they've really spent time working on themselves and becoming what they are today and am sure that their parents are 100% proud of them cause I am......
So yeah we know what we're gonna do
