Before then, I'll encourage and advise, if you can, pick up a skill(craft) and build a very good knowledge of it. Are you business savvy? Get some funds and start a lucrative side business. Start small, but start now. Waiting for the “perfect time” is Poverty’s biggest scam.
The cooperate world is moving towards AI and robotic directions. The world dynamics are changing and won't reward you for not moving along, staying ignorant or unskilful. Innovations are springing up globally. Do you know what that means? Sooner than later, cooperate organizations, companies, industries etc will soon be relegating manual jobs to robots and the use of AI in order to cut cost thereby reducing the number of employers in an organizations, industries and factories.
I was listening to a radio program (interview) couple of months ago and heard the doctor said, in the coming years a good number of doctors might be out of job. He went further to say, robots will perform operations and other medical activities. Some countries are doing that already.
What preparations are you making this year in creating wealth for yourself? If you're relinquished of your 9-5 career job today, what are you falling back on? What are you passionate about that you feel when converted into product or service can generate money to you?
There's something you can always give out if you're passionate about carving a niche for yourself. All you have got to do is to educate and update yourself daily on innovations and flow with the tide. Be good at what you do. Be productive and deliver successfully the service you provide. ''What you buy is as good as who you buy from.''
Be shameless about selling or the service you're providing. If you're not willing to improve yourself, you love poverty.
Don't be left out in a world speedily moving at a fast pace. I saw someone building a charging station for electric cars. Though electric cars aren't fully operational in the country, people are beginning to think ahead in time towards that direction. When it finally hit our drive way in few years time, those who had got themselves prepared, would have enjoyed a lower cost of setting it up compared to what those who will later join the trend will spend in setting up one.
Whatever you do, always think ahead and flow with innovative trends.

ReplyDeleteThis is something I've been talking about since 2011. Then AI was just something being whispered about in the back corners of programming schools.
ReplyDeleteI consider AI and UBI (Universal Basic Income) to be the biggest and most far reaching changes in our generation. With AI basically, most jobs existing now will be wiped out. We are talking about systems that even at infancy, can do more complex calculations, operations and synthesis than even the best teams of scientists. The idea is to remove the human factor from all areas of production. And yet, the AI of today is just like Nokia 3310. We can only imagine what the iPhone versions of it will be tomorrow.
Practically over 90% of courses being taught in Nigerian universities today will be obsolete in little over 10 years. This is not hyperbole.
Here's where it gets interesting. AI systems have been known to on their own, create a programming language only they can understand. The father of AI has been sounding alarms and warning that these systems are advancing faster than he thought they'd be capable of. He has been warning that the world needs to develop a form of kill switches for them because he is pretty sure their exponential development will prove a threat to humanity. His fears are not unfounded.
An AI system was asked what it thought would be the best solution to eliminate conflict, strife and hunger on earth. It replied without hesitation that the best solution would be to wipe out humanity from this planet.
I don't want to scare anyone. But if you actually believe your Bible, I will say this. There will be no antichrist without advanced AI. If you read the book of revelations 13:11-18, you see where images of the anti-christ come to life. There is a reason why Elon Musk is seriously working on neura-link. But this is another rabbit hole of its own entirely.
The future our kids are training in school for, doesn't exist. We may actually have done them no favours bringing them into this world. Please read up on the advancement of AI as much as you can. It will scare you. Humanity is about to embark on a journey of no return.

A 360 degree business model designed by AI to solve the problem of financial insufficiency will be launched in South Africa, Kenya, and Nigeria this month after the Beta Testing phase is conclusive in the United States.
Financial markets such as Forex, Stocks, Equity Options; will be affected; whle many other speculative instruments will become obsolete. Sports betting will become history, because the new money maker is risk free.
Many people in Africa wil abandon their jobs and many companies will fold up for lack of human capital. All these events will happen suddenly this year.
This is one of the areas that I am lacking. The whole projection and forward thinking and being prepared is an area of struggle. I am getting better but still have a long way to go.
