Singer Shina Peters Reacts To Pastor Ashimolowo Comparing Him To Bank Mogul Jim Ovia.

Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo has sparked controversy by comparing singer Shina Peters' financial decisions to those of Zenith Bank founder Jim Ovia.
Ashimolowo said, "Shina Peters had N20 million, he built a house and Jim Ovia had N20 million and started a bank.

One man is now fixing leaking roofs, broken toilets, door when nor dey shot anymore and the other one, every country I go to in Africa, I see a branch. I was in Ghana, Zenith everywhere.

I was in ten African countries, Zenith everywhere. I am speaking into somebody’s life now, delay your gratification and God will lift you up".

Shina Peters responded, saying Ashimolowo's statement was false and derogatory but chose not to take legal action, citing his dedication to the body of Christ.

Peters stated, "Thanks to daddyshowkey for speaking on this matter and bringing it to my attention. I’m not one to judge people and their opinions of me, but as a man of God myself, and for the sake of the legacy of our Christ Jesus, I will not be taking legal actions nor will I speak ill against you.. God has really blessed me beyond words, you can’t even begin to imagine the blessings of God upon my life all these decades"

    1. Well said. That man;s fall from grace is loading. Is it the charities commission case or his land fraud case? And to think this man was the least materialistic in those days. Now he is the worst of the lot. Chai, just like king Solomon strayed...
