VB and her husband are narcissists with serious control issues who know how to play the media game. They will do anything to protect their brand. On top of that VB is a boy mum with oedipal complex who has used her son as a substitute for the love she is no longer receiving from her unfaithful husband. Photos of her clinging to her son in many poses, have surfaced and was even a subject of articles a few years ago. Brooklyn is a spoilt and talentless brat who married someone who is very much like his mum. His wife wants to be famous at all costs and has history of alienating her exes from their families. The scary bit for me is that his parents wanted Brooklyn to sign over the legal rights to his own name. He refused. Hence all this wahala.

She has always worked so hard to paint the perfect picture of her life, even going as far as lying that she grew up working class, maintaining a strict diet so she never gains weight and making sure she always looks her best in public. I remember that article where she had the person take her picture multiple times for her driver's license so she can have the best look..lol. Brooklyn has iced her fairytale with poop. I don't even know how she will wash it off.

He has also taken his wife's last name. Him talking about his mother dancing inappropriately on him at the wedding was just cringe. And Mark Anthony was ridiculous if he did make that statement. This young man has fully yoked himself to his wife and although he is their son, they should leave him to live his life as he desires, he loves his wife just like David loves Victoria, maybe even more, and she is his family now, he has a family of his own creation.
ReplyDeleteHighly successful parents have to be just a little careful of their parenting approach. So many of the children of these entertainers are trans identified or out there. Rob Reiner's boy wiped out him and the mother, and that son who unalifed the CEO in NYC came from some serious privilege. Labour for your riches but also labour for the love. While there is retirement from work there is never retirement from the labour of love. I hope they can find peace again.

I think they should just give him the distance he desires, sometimes silence and distance does more than working to 'fix things' and 'clear the air'. David may have been captain of the England WC team but he gotta have to sit on the bench for this one. That boy is a grown azz man and wants to chart his own course, set him free and let him fly.
DeleteChildren always complain about their parents but when they become parents their own children do the very same thing to them. They always think they will parent better, be better, love better, and have a better marriage and most times it does not end up that way. Everyone on earth is flawed. The Divine Creator had to make a restart on Earth more than once, how much more we mere humans with not getting life right in one short lifetime. May they forgive each other and come to a place of healing in the future.

I agree. I would feel some kind of way about my husband talking about his mother like that publicly, I hate shyt like that. Work the issues out privately, don’t bring family issues to front street, and I’d be worried he would do the same thing to me one day. Some lines should never be crossed when your parents are still alive, unless there was some seckual or physical abuse there is no need for the public blast. Cuss them out in private and move on.

He is likely in wonder and for someone whose parents have their own legitimate achievement it’s just annoying to see him act like he is unexposed to the good life.
