Former Benue State Gov Suswam Ports To APC

Former Benue State Governor Gabriel Suswam officially left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He resigned from the PDP in the morning and registered as an APC member later the same day in his Mbagber Council Ward, Logo Local Government Area of Benue State.

Suswam served as Benue governor from 2007 to 2015 and later as a senator. In his resignation letter to the PDP ward chairman, he explained his decision. He said the PDP once stood for unity, internal democracy, and strong opposition, but now faces constant unresolved conflicts and crises.
He thanked the party for past opportunities to serve but felt it no longer matched his goals.

  1. They will abuse him now, it is okay for their faves to join ADC but it's seen as an offence for people to exercise their democratic choice to join APC.
