Kannywood actress Samha Inuwa has been sentenced to six months imprisonment (or an option of a ₦200,000 fine) after pleading guilty to a one‑count charge of tampering with a ₦1,000 note..
The judgment was delivered by Justice S.M. Shuaibu of the Federal High Court in Kano, which heard that she soiled the note with her nose in 2022
During proceedings the prosecuting counsel, Musa Isah, urged conviction while the actress described herself as a first‑time offender, expressed remorse and pleaded for leniency.
