Christians all over the World started fasting today and my hubby reminded me today not to cook anything with Beef or Chicken ..So i will be making mashed potatoes with a platter of fishes and shrimps......
Please oh, let me ask..This not eating Beef or chicken or whatever, is it a must or just for Catholics? cos how will my munching on a soft cheesy burger with beef or chicken be that i am eating the flesh of Jesus Christ? weren't those tales told to scare people? What is the real deal?

NOTORIOUS FOR JESUS
In my home, we have eating hierarchy. And it begins with me being the first person that would usually finish eating, followed by my three year old son and then my husband, and lastly, my daughter. We are four and we are very knitted. Food is central in my family because when the children eat healthy, they stay healthy.
Well, because my daughter is a slow eater, and my boy a quick eater and foodie, Whenever he is done with his food, he would proceed to my daughter and starts to struggle her food with her.
On many occasions, we would caution him and ask her to refuse. However, On the other hand, because I want my daughter to always be snappy with her meal, I made the decision to watch my son take her food, hence it facilitated the result I wanted to achieve. With time, my daughter started to hasten her eating and her food habit improved.
This progress has brought about efficiency in our daily activities because we can now all finish our meal nearly the same time and move to the next agenda while saving time. Are you a slow or fast eater? How has this behaviour impacted your life?
I am a slow eater and it has not impacted on me in a bad way...Sometimes i will be so slow that i would lose interest in the food and keep it by the side....No one eats my leftovers cos i have strange mixtures that no one understands...LOL

So I normally wake in the morning and move for hustle, stay till 12 or 1 I eat. On a good market day ,I cook when I go back at night.
But on most days I reach house and sleep off,life goes on. Meaning I eat once a day most days and twice few days.
Am just happy God gave me a good health and tommy. Ulcer for done finish me.
But we keep pushing and moving.

As for me, I'm a total foodie, I eat three times a day, and when the food bug bites, I'm eating every three hours. The only time food lost its appeal was when I lost my mom, nothing tasted right, not even my favorite dishes. It was like my taste buds went into mourning. But I'm grateful to God for being God.
The thing is, I'm just not wired to eat twice a day, it's not my style, my mom spoiled us with too much food whilst growing up and e con enter blood. My mama doesn't joke with food around her kids, you gotta eat your three square meals, 1-1-1, or you'll have her to answer to. "Infact, go to the pot and dish to your fill and if e no do you, fetch another one...." na him I take grow.
As I live alone, I do not cook daily. I dey prepare food full pot, sufficient for 2 days. If it is soup, I can cook two different types of soup as I am scattered and versatile in nature (For good) My taste buds dey quick tire for one thing for too long.
Most times, I eat out when I am not in the mood for cooking.

Even though my body is kinda used to it but there are times that this hunger will just come late at night, and I'll grab fine garri and fresh groundnuts 😀
