    3. My own is why is security always standing directly behind people at events in Nigeria. Is the venue not secure that security or police always stands directly behind people?. I personally can't stand people standing behind me so if I have security in Nigeria you will never see them standing behind me.
Have they ever seen security standing directly behind anyone in the western world after they have entered the venue of where the event is taking place? Oscars, Grammys, Brit awards etc. Nigerians with their delusions of grandeur, inferiority complex and poverty mentality, it can never leave them no matter the high position they hold in the society.

  4. Toyin sef needs to chill. That oversabi aunty that they call her, suits her.

    1. To chill how? What exactly did she do wrong?

She saw a colleague in a public event and greeted her. Just the same way she greeted the others. If she greeted them and snubbed Funke, you guys would come for her too.

Let's call a spade a spade. If someone snubs you like that, you will also feel insulted.

  5. But Funke would have answered since the offender greeted first. It's not that hard. She first greeted you, meaning, she's sorry for what she did to you. Responding doesn't necessarily mean that you must associate with her. Just respond and move on with your life.
Una too dey make life difficult unnecessarily .

  7. It is not everybody that knows how to pretend. God is still working on my character so if you hurt me in private please respect yourself in public and keep your hypocritical greetings to yourself.

  10. I'm beginning to believe the rumor that Funke is mean and has a stone heart because what was the meaning of what she did yesterday, simple hi would have been better instead of ignoring Toyin, oversabi aunty you too zukwanike, you are always running around greeting people, learn from Mercy Aigbe cos she totally ignored Funke and both of them were just eyeing each other.

    1. What you said about Funke is true, no one (including her closed circle and domestic staff) have never said anything good about her, rumors even have it that she slaps her domestic staff like mad, she has a very bad energy.

    2. @tito, As in ehn, I'm so pissed. Yeye dey smell.

  11. I don't even have that kind of energy, even if we are not in good terms, if I see you I'd greet, if you greet me, I'll answer. E no change our status quo

  12. Funke for respond to her greetings, nobody owns this life except God.
Or maybe it's a PR stunt..

  13. Toyin is acting her name..oversabi aunty though it's embarrassing.
You know you and somebody aren't on talking terms, you meet the person in a function with camera everywhere then you carry your oversabi self to greet the person. You go collect snubbing.

  14. I have lost all respect for Funke after watching this video very childish and bad role model! Our celebrities seem to forget that they’re role models and young people are watching and learning from their behavior. No matter what ish you have against her it was very wrong to ignore your colleague’s greeting in public for that matter! It goes against all etiquette and public decorum!

  15. I'll sit this one out, only God knows what is happening behind the scene.

  16. Funny women. They all looked choked yesterday. 🤪🤪🤪

  17. Greeting is a basic courtesy, responding to it doesn't make us cordial.

  18. What is happening both of them are my favorites

  19. Why are my favourite having issues abi it's PR Stun for Iyabo's movie 🤣

  20. I feel Funke should have just said hi or hello and leave it there.

I just don't like how she's being dragged.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Funke, she called you Aunty and greeted you but you could not behave like one.
Yoruba's always say agba ma n gba ni. I don' t care what might have have happened behind the scenes, you would have just responded to her greeting. It doesn't mean you two should be friends.
Clearly, we have can see that two of you cant be friends.

And Toyin please stop all this Aunty you are calling everyone in your age bracket, its coming at a cost. The disrespect is getting too much. For your colleagues btw 40 - 49, respect should be
reciprocated! Please don't allow anyone put you down. Oju orun to eiye fo lai fi ara kan ara won.
    Ire o!

  22. Funke, I hope when you watch the clipse circulating around you are proud of yourself?
My dear your reaction was immature and unnecessary.

    ReplyDelete
  23. For everyone coming here to say Toyin did this or that, that’s not even my point. I’m speaking strictly on the principle of courtesy. If someone walks up to greet me, I will return the greeting. It doesn’t mean we’re friends, and it certainly doesn’t mean we’re enemies—it’s just basic respect.

Completely ignoring someone who greets you, especially in a public setting, comes across as rude, no matter how anyone tries to justify it. If it’s a publicity stunt, that’s fine, but then it raises another question: why is there always some form of controversy surrounding Iyabo Ojo’s movie premieres? Could it be that the focus shifts to drama instead of organic promotion? Maybe. Maybe not.

But regardless of all that, simple courtesy should never be up for debate or brushed off. Ignoring a colleague in public is a no for me.

  24. If you hate me and hate my success, don't pretend you love me because people are there. Apply same energy.

How many of you can take what Toyin has been doing to Funke for many years? Funke has been a trailblazer to all of them from more than 25 years. You will never hear that Funke discredit anybody's brand or personality or effort.

She created personality brand in her movies with Jennifer, all of you Toyin, Mercy Aigbe, Fathia, created your own too, from Alakada (Funke actually did a similar Yoruba movie) by Toyin, to Osas Omoge Benin by Mercy, to Oganga or so by Fathia.

Toyin once alleged that Funke was successful at the box office because she was giving gifts. These are things she said openly without considering the feeling of this other woman.

Later she alleged that Funke was blocking her movies at the cinema (thank God Mo Abudu cleared the air on that last year. Mo Abudu said it is due to pure business reasons for the Cinemas; they want to make money, and they can't be running generator for movies that has 4 intending viewers when hundreds are waiting for another movie).

Just last year, Toyin alleged that Funke's movie is not meant for family ( i listened to this myself), most especially for children, rather, people should come and watch her own movie that won't make them to cry.

When will she learn to go her way without dragging Funke? Funke will never mention anybody's name negatively. Does that mean she is not offended by things done to her too? She will do her own thing, pray, publicize and push it.

They should stop dropping her name everywhere to spoil her. That's a huge brand. She worked to build that brand.

That was what Kunle Afolayan too did last year. You can do your own movie and push it without discrediting any other person's success, most especially when the person is leading all of you. The simple interpretation of that is that you want the person to fail and fall.

As a person, Funke's love grew in my mind over time. The first time I watched her movie, I did not like her personality, but through her hard work, ingenuity, creativity, innovations, I have developed deep love for her movies. Please others should work on themselves without dragging Funke.

She has done a lot for them already, as the pacesetter, by making them know it is possible. She has opened ways of movie distribution from Nigeria to Ghana, Canada, UK and USA. Is that not enough for them?
