He said “DNA is not our culture. Any child born in a marriage belongs to the man.” You people should stop doing DNA. In Igbo culture, once a woman is married, any child she gives birth to is her husband’s child.
“These laboratories in Nigeria, can you even trust them? Their results are not reliable.”

Nonse....
ReplyDeleteWhen DNA testing is asked for as a condition to relocate to Canada, or the USA, or the UK, Husbands, Wives, children and dependent blood relatives do it quietly and relocate with their okay result or ...
But when a man says to do it for his peace of mind, we hear all types of preachments.
He is a Pastor, right?
So, what Book and verse of the Bible was he preaching from?
But what he is saying is the truth… even in biblical times. That’s why Jesus is the son of Joseph even if Joseph isn’t his biological father. In most societies, once you’re married to a woman, any child she has is considered yours.
DeleteIf Ben in the US you talk about, if a woman puts your name on her child’s birth certificate or you put it by yourself and then somehow it is discovered you’re not the father, you are still responsible for the child till 18, you can hardly even sue to remove responsibility, it is war!
He's actually right about the child belonging to the man. That's the Igbo custom. Currently busy at the moment with work I would have type much about it. Maybe some other time. There's a reason for that. However, I'm not against a DNA test

I agree 100%
ReplyDeletePolygyny is a part of Igbo culture.
ReplyDeleteWould he preach for it today?
Somebody once said male pastors always preach what enables them to eat single and married female congregants' soups free of charge. I am still trying to decipher what the person meant.
This is painfully illogical. How did such a brain dead notion gain such prominence enough that this clown is justifying it? Do bloodlines not mean anything anymore?
ReplyDeleteBloodlines do not mean as much as you would like to think
DeleteHmmm 🤔🤔🤔
ReplyDeleteNaaa.... I disagree, this is indirectly supporting adultery.
ReplyDeleteOh Okay🙄
ReplyDeleteHello iya Boys
Hmmmm!
ReplyDeleteOdumeje knows what he's protecting.
ReplyDeleteRumor has it that 80% of children birthed in his church look like him😂
No wonder many Igbo married women are engaged in adultery in Nigeria but very good in coding it. In all the organistaions I have worked, both in the public and private sectors, they are supreme - knacking bosses for favours - promotion, official travels and perquisites. Edo/Delta married women cant try such cos of fear of tradition but their single ladies are promiscous. For other S-S tribes, it is a mixture. Some Yoruba married ladies too engage in extramarital affairs especially if their husbands are public dicks - as revenge. Another promiscous set of married women are young and educated northern women - mostly the 2nd/3rd/4th wives - they are fire and do theirs in gyms. In summary, many men are training other men's children.
