  1. Long gist...

One granduncle in the hood, who is a preacher, came to preach to us the other day, and then he gisted us about his ahewo days.

He said all these things young boys and girls are doing nowadays no reach the kind of flexing them do during their time.

He said tinted hair and whookup started decades ago, only say nowadays social media don cast everything.

He talked about how he and his friends would travel to other states just for oblee and opu*hx.

That was before the advent of phones.

One time, he traveled to another state to enjoy himself.

He got to one hotel, and the security man there realized they were from the same state because of his scarification, they now exchanged greetings in their language.

He paid for a room and on his way to his room, he saw a girl on the staircase. In no time, he and the girl were already in bed.

The girl was putting on JUST a spaghetti top and jeans pant๐Ÿ‘–.

But when it was time to shine Congo, the girl pulled off the top and jeans.

The next thing she started pulling off a bubu gown, then a big skirt and blouse, and kept on pulling many many other agbada-like clothes.

In a short while, all the clothes she removed from her slim body had piled up almost to the ceiling, yet she kept on removing more.

He became scared and his head began swelling.

He summoned courage as a man and ran out of the room straight to the security man’s post to ask questions about the girl upstairs.

That was when the security man confided in him based on brotherly levels, that the girl had been their guest a long time ago before an unknown person kpaid her in her room.

The hotel management couldn’t locate her family (phones been never dey for Naija then), so they decided to dig a grave and bury her behind the hotel. Since then, she disturbs sometimes.

He said he didn't go back to his room. He sharply left the hotel that very night and avoided anything ahewo for months.

But you know, old firewood no dey quench nah. So he resumed.

Another time, he was coming back from the club one early paipai.

It was drizzling, he now saw one fine girl standing under the rain.

He slowed down, and just like that, took her home, after a few convos.

When they got to his house, they did their mummy and daddy jeje, but the girl was very cold and shivering.

So he gave her his sweater to wear, and they both slept.

When he woke up, the girl was nowhere to be found. But she left her photograph, with her full name and house address boldly written at the back of the photo.

After about two weeks, he decided to go and check on her using the address on the back of the photo.

When he got to her house and showed the pic of the person he was looking for, the whole family just burst cry once.

They told him the girl had kpaid and had been buried a month ago.

He argued that it was a lie because he was with her just two weeks ago naun.

To convince him, the girl’s mother took him to her grave at the backyard, and lo and behold, his sweater was spread ๐Ÿ‘˜ right there on top of the grave.

He said his shock was shocked, fever hollam too. "So las las I don kn*ck ghost join for this my ahewo life".

From there, he went straight to church for prayers and repentance.

He later got married, settled down, and is now a preacher.

  5. Another fruitless journey on the quest for interview today, Elite hospitality recruitment ng, may Almighty God punish you for wasting job seekers time, energy and money.
You knew very well you don't have jobs for people, but because of greed and selfish for collecting form money, you will be telling people to go to random places without any arrangements with the managers and HRS, it's until when someone reaches there, those one will be saying they don't have any arrangements with anybody for interview, you're not even recognized by the companies because they always raise eyebrows whenever your name is mentioned.
Two people came from Ibadan today and went home empty handed with nobody to attend to them, and they said that they could not count how many times you would tell them to come for fruitless interviews in Lagos, that nobody would even attend to them, let alone passing the interview.
I don't trust all these agents but in my desperation for job, I had to borrow money with interest to buy form and even sent you the evidence.
Whether you're reading this or not, I will continue c*rsing you until I see work and for every tears money you've collected from people, God will double your tears for each tears coming from people's eyes.

I was expecting her call as usual and kept checking My phone ... No alert ! Just dressed up and wento My Sis place go flex small. 12 o clock her calls kept blasting on my phone. I activated my ignore button. Someting must have clicked in her medulla to quickly send in my money. But alas.. I don make up my mind say na flexing win today.
