ReplyDeleteThis lady was selling tickets to a breakfast and she let me take the ticket on honour because I didn't have cash then, we agreed that I would pay her when I came to the event. Anyhow, I completely forgot about the event and never attended. The next time I saw her I apologized for not attending and gave her back the ticket, but I gave her the cost of the ticket for the fundraiser, it was $50. She hugged me and thanked me. Well, a few months later I found out that she is one of the co-founders of the organization, I thought she was just someone selling tickets. Always do the right thing because you just never know who you're interacting with.
