Police Begin Probe Into Content Creator Blessing CEO's Alleged Cancer Claims After VDM Petition

Nigeria's Police has formally opened an investigation into content creator and serial liar Blessing CEO after activist VDM filed a petition accusing her of faking cancer for sympathy and financial gain.
According to the petition, VDM claims Blessing CEO misled the public with her cancer narrative and demands that authorities verify the authenticity of her medical claims.

The is coming amid growing backlash over Blessing CEO’s claim that she is battling stage‑four cancer.
On March 25, 2026, she posted a viral Instagram video tearfully announcing the diagnosis, showing signs of hair loss and later revealing she had begun auctioning her properties to fund treatment.
The narrative shifted after the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Delta State chapter, disowned a histology report linked to her, stating it was allegedly altered from an original medical report belonging to another breast‑cancer patient.
With the IGP now authorizing a probe, the controversy has escalated from online debate to a formal investigation.

    2. As a matter of urgency, public interest, law and order, and to serve as a deterrent:

The office of the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) and the Attorney General of Nigeria should institute a legal action against Blessing Okoro (aka Blessing CEO) for forgery and fraud - defrauding the public through forged medical report and, soliciting and receiving donations.

The bank should have blocked the funds in her bank account by now to be refunded to donors /source accounts using the transfer/deposit reference numbers. *THERE IS ALWAYS AN AUDIT TRAIL for banking transactions.*

All or some of the people that donated to Blessing Okoro's (aka Blessing CEO)bank account should come together and institute a CLASS ACTION against her in court.

Blessing Okoro aka Blessing CEO should serve a term of 12 months sentence - 6 month in prison and 6 months community service in ICU - Cancer Ward as a cleaner.

If Blessing Okoro aka Blessing CEO has spent or transferred the donated amount out of her account, she should be remanded in maximum security prison until she pays up or remain jailed for life.

In addition her property and personal belongings should be auctioned off and the proceeds donated to real Cancer patients.

When two toxic people are in a relationship and defending each other's wrong doings, no one to advise the other one on the right track or call the other to order.

The two of them will sink together.
