Rapper Laycon Reveals Winning Big Brother Helped Save His Mother’s Life
Rapper and Big bro Naija Season 5 winner, Laycon, has revealed that his victory in the reality show saved his mother’s life.
Speaking on Teddy A’s Echo Room podcast he said : “I said it in the house. When I was in the house, my mum was ill. By the time I came out, my mum was close to death. I am saying it categorically now, if I didn’t win that show, if I had gone and came back second, my mum would be dead now.”
Sad one. I totally understand. If I had as little or as much as 100k in the nick of time, my mum would have still been alive for sure. Hopelessness is a terrible thing. I know some might argue that the reason would have still died, money or not, but unless you have walked that path, you can never understand.
Imagine that! My people say 'the way we gather to celebrate funerals, if we had gathered like that to assist the dead, may be they will still be alive '.
