What is this again??????
A 40-year-old woman, Isoken Idunueko, was on Friday arraigned before an Ibadan Magistrates’ Court for allegedly refusing to return ₦2,040 mistakenly sent to her bank account.
The prosecutor said the money was transferred in error to her Zenith Bank account, but she failed to refund it when contacted by the owner...
Idunueko pleaded not guilty to the theft charge. The Magistrate granted her bail of ₦500,000 with two sureties, one of whom must own property. The case was adjourned to June 2 for hearing.

ReplyDeleteThat's how Valerie Ogechi Igwe will go to prison soon for the money mistakenly paid into her account. It's moral to return what was not willingly given to you. Some people are ready to spend money to punish a heartless person.
ReplyDeleteSome people self, look at the shame she brought to herself
ReplyDeleteWow
ReplyDeleteSo selfish of her.
ReplyDeleteHow is she going through this cause of 2k and she is okay with it. Abi na 2m!
ReplyDeleteEven if na 200m it is not worth the stress
A lot of people do this. Feeling smart. She jammed someone that has her time and i guess wants to prove a point. It could even be the way she responded to the sender that triggered the person. On the other hand, It could also be that she did not notice such a small amount enter her account . I am someone who does not check balance like that so if the money is too small to materially make me notice, i might not unless the person calls me to tell me then i will refund.
ReplyDeleteIf u like send 1k I no dey refund Any money
