In her words;
"I'm your parent not your friend
I mean, we do a lot when it comes to children
I want you to be comfortable enough to tell me stuff
But I also want you to understand that am your parent not your friend
I will meet you there
But I will check you when you cross the line".

ReplyDeleteChildren are corrected as though you are appealing to them. Very sad. That's why our Gen z are behaving any how with a lot of attitude. Rude, unable to accept correction and get the truth. You are correcting they think it's an attack.
very fantastic way of parenting. Draw boundaries.
I didn't even recognize her. She has really come a long.
